Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Nothing wrong w the shoe but didn’t fit meI found that Sportivas in general are too high volume for my feet- the heel slips around, and there are pockets of space above my toes even when my toes are cramped in the shoe- performance-wise if they fit you they’ll be great!

The best shoe, bar none.I’ve owned shoes from every company, my feet are an awkward shape and it makes it tricky. I’ve tried them all, this is the best aggressive shoe in existence, wildly comfortable, no dead space anywhere. If you have wide feet I would never recommend la sportiva, but these fit me perfectly, bunions and all. Also excellent rubber! These are my magic shoes when 12+ is on the agenda.

Love the productThis shoe is a sport climbing machine! I take them on every sport climbing trip I go on and love them more each trip. They work great from sketchy ran out slab climbs to large overhung roof climbs.

Love bouldering and sport climbing in this shoe <3I bought this around a month ago and have used it extensively indoors and outdoors. The shape is intense, and I particularly enjoy the grip shape of the heel hook. Perfect for overhung projects but can be used for slab climbing too. I have wide feet and my toes are more of the rounded-sort so this shoe is one of the few that accommodate that shape...a bit..better than other models from La Sportiva. I sized down a full size from my nike sneaker size, for reference.

Terrible break in, great shoe!!These shoes were a pain (literally) to break in but now that they are, they have become my favorite shoes. I use them for sport climbing but they are great for bouldering too!

Excellent All-around/ edging shoeThis is my second pair of these after having had the original lace-ups 20 years ago. They are an excellent face climbing shoe, they do well bouldering and they climb cracks respectably well. The only weak spots are the outside edge is a little weak, so if you climb hard trad, particularly old school dihedral routes, occasionally you wish for a little more edge along your pinky toe. That and the fact that they are stiff enough that they take quite a bit of breaking in before they can toe-in or “paw” really well on overhung routes. These are nitpicks though. Overall they are a Jack of all trades and they do most things well, and do edging exceptionally well. They have been my go-to shoe for a long time.
I currently own LaSportiva Mythos and wanted these for a change of pace and for a more aggressive shoe option. In Mythos, 44.5 is darn near perfect size, and Im curious if I should choose the same sizing or try to go smaller at 44.

Thanks for the question! Based on customer feedback, I would not size down. I have heard that the toe volume presses down hard on the top of the big toe when fitting in between thin cracks. I would actually go up a half size from your normal La Sportiva sizing in order to comfortably climb. I have also heard that the top buckle can be a problem if you don't get the right size. If you are still on the fence, you could always order both sizes so you can try on at home on the carpet. If you decide to do that, just let us know and we will get you a pre-paid return label. A couple other pairs that are worth mentioning are the La Sportiva Katana Lace Shoe and the Butora Acro Climbing Shoe. The Katana has an identical fit as the Miura, but the lacing method can be more comfortable. The Acro is just as rigid as the Miura, but it runs a tad wider and might give you some more comfort. NOTES and FIT INFO La Sportiva footwear is built and offered on European half sizes, which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives them four extra sizes per size run, and ultimately gives you a better fit.
As a general rule soft shoes like climbing shoes require a tighter fit, or about two to three sizes smaller than your street shoe size.
La Sportiva recommends you fit your trad climbing shoes one to two sizes under your street shoe size.
La Sportiva offers a lot of lasts, and each offers a different fit and feel. Remember to factor in potential stretching.
Unlined slip-lasted shoes tend to stretch a bit more than lined shoes, or about one full size.
Lined shoes stretch about a half size.
