Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Great addition to the quiver!Caught a wild hair and decided to get a pair of Futuras. I've gone through many pairs of Solutions. Read some reviews stating that you need to relearn how to climb/use your feet with the Futura. Well, they probably send V16 or something, because to me, the no edge just feels like your favorite broken in pair of Solutions. These are ready to go right out of the box - no break in. I was struck by how SOFT and comfy they are for a high performance shoe.

Great initial impression and sizing notesWhen looking at a new shoe sizing is always the most difficult part, even if you can try them in locally. Will they stretch? How much? And if you can’t try them on then it’s even more difficult!
I just got these today and haven’t climbed in them yet, so I also don’t know how much they will stretch but wanted to provide thoughts on sizing and initial impressions.
To start, I’m typically an 8.5 US Mens street shoe, which equates to a 41.
I purchased the Futura’s one size down, so a 40. I have a pair of 39.5 Miura VS, 39.5 Katana Lace, and 40 Katana Lace.
The Futura 40 feels tighter than the Katana lace 40 but not quite as tight as the 39.5. The Katana I’ve only worn one day so it’s not fully broken in yet. I don’t know how much the Futura will stretch but I’m glad I went with the 40, it definitely feels as if I won’t have any concern of it being a performance fit. I’m not using it as a project shoe so actually hoping for a little stretch :) I wanted a “comfy” performance shoe for warm ups and to be honest I wanted to try this whole no edge thing.
I typically climb at Smith Rock (sport climbing) where the feet are typically small edges and nubbins even on easier grades (10’s and under). I currently climb up to 12’s and have played on 13’s on TR (even though that’s over my head!) but I would feel confident in the 40 Katana laces. The 39.5 I would use maybe for Redpoint attempts.
So, I guess what I’m saying is that I think one size down in the Futura should be a great shoe without having to go crazy tight.
Btw, the 39.5 Miura VS are a project fit for me. Definitely come on for one route then off.
I don’t see how people go 2+ sizes down haha and I’m on some tiny edges already just fine.
Depending on stretch, and the purpose I got the Futuras for, I could probably even have gone with a 40.5, but time will tell after I break them in.
Super stoked about these though!

Great shoe, I hate them!The No edge tech showed me how awful my footwork is and is taking some getting used to. Between that and the downsizing, I really hate these shoes to begin with. Now; they are awesome. Highly recommend them if you’re looking to get better with your feet. I ordered mine in the same size as the solutions I have (street shoe 11.5 sized down to 43.5).

New favI love my skwamas and solutions, but this might favorite from la sportiva. Lots of sensitivity on rock. Very comfortable after breaking in, and the same size/fit as skwamas.

Super sticky and sensitive = Top quality shoesThe Futura are my go-to shoes for hard boulders and lead projects ! I have these shoes for over 9 months and really love them!
The no-edge technology brings my toes much closer to the rock compared to regular climbing shoes. This allows me to transfer the power directly through my toes onto the rock and not onto an artificial edge, which could bend or collapse. Their sensitivity makes my foot movements more precise and safer.
The shoes are built with the P3 midsole, which retains its shape easily under pressure. The Velcro lacing system is perfect for stepping in and out of them easily without compromising the tight fit.
You should try these shoes outside or inside! You will not regret it!

No-Edge for the win!I purchased these a month ago after finally destroying my beloved Pythons. I was hesitant to invest in the No-Edge technology for a high-level climbing shoe but the Futuras performed exceedingly well right out of the box. I put them to the test on some difficult slab climbing at the New River Gorge and was surprised at how well I could edge on the rounded no edge. I'm a huge fan of soft-soled shoes and the ultra-comfortable midsole fit my arch right away. For reference, I wear 37.5 in these and most other LaSpo shoes, so the sizing is on point for me.

NOTES and FIT INFO La Sportiva footwear is built and offered on European half sizes, which are smaller increments than US half sizes. This gives them four extra sizes per size run, and ultimately gives you a better fit.
As a general rule soft shoes like climbing shoes require a tighter fit, or about two to three sizes smaller than your street shoe size.
La Sportiva recommends you fit your trad climbing shoes one to two sizes under your street shoe size.
La Sportiva offers a lot of lasts, and each offers a different fit and feel. Remember to factor in potential stretching.
Unlined slip-lasted shoes tend to stretch a bit more than lined shoes, or about one full size.
Lined shoes stretch about a half size.
