Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

The Klymit Insulated Static V Lite Sleeping Pad is an insulated sleeping pad for four season backpacking and camping. With the help of synthetic insulation inside the pad, this creates an R-Value of 4.4, allowing you to enjoy cold weather adventures just as much as warm weather ones. Inflate the pad via the valve with just 10-12 breaths, because after hiking all day, who wants to spend more time than that just to go to sleep? The V Chambers are body mapped for comfort and the side rails help you from falling off the mat. At just 19.6 ounces and a packed size of 5"x8", you'll happily place it in your pack before any hiking adventure.

Great ProductI have used Klymit products for quite some time now and never had an issue. I take my sleeping pads on deployments and use them often when I teach in the back country. Comfortable and durable. And as for Moosjaw, perfect consumer service as always.

Not ImpressedI bought this pad for car camping as I was looking for a durable less expensive pad than the one I use for backpacking and I wanted a reasonably lightweight pad that I could use for backpacking if needed. It is not nearly as comfortable as others claim. It is ok on top of a self-inflating foam pad I had already bought for car camping which also was not sufficient by itself. It is very easy to inflate and deflate.

Good size, respectable comfort, fair priceThis pad did a good job providing me adequate comfort and insulation while not taking up too much space in my pack during a week long backpacking trip. My nights got down to a feel of the high 30s at the lowest and when paired with my Mountain Hardware Bishop Pass bag rated for 30º I was able to sleep soundly through the night. I had no hiccups with back pain or and discomfort from sleeping on this pad. I do however doubt it's high R-value and wouldn't use this pad outside of 3 season camping. I could inflate this in roughly 10-15 breaths.

Fine for some but not this side sleeper.Pad is light and packs small. Easy and quick to inflate. The cons for me were the deep, vertical channels that seemed to allow air underneath me and thereby lowering the insulation properties. The vertical channels also meant my hip could sink to the ground when lying on my side.

Does the trickI bought this pad because I needed a quality, compact, lightweight backcountry pad for traveling far and high into wilderness areas. So far it seems durable, it's very compact, lightweight and quick and easy to inflate, delate and pack up.

Exactly what I neededPreviously had the uninsulated static v and needed a pad with a higher R value. Enjoyed my original static v so much I went with the same type. I sleep comfortably on my side no problems and it hasn’t had any issues holding up to my 42lb dog.

Great sleeping padI’ve only used this once so far, but I love it!! Makes sleeping while camping so much more comfortable. I’m a side sleeper and I slept very well with this. It did not lose any air overnight, as is easy to blow up and deflate. Excited to continue using it in the future!

GREAT Pad - Buy with confidenceI found this pad to be an excellent purchase at a great value. Good amount of insulation for cold weather but not winter. Durable enough that if you don't act stupid with it you should be okay and avoid any ruptures. I paired it with a <20 closed cell foam pad that I put on top of the inflatable, this way your weight is distributed and you get all of the lift from this pad, and don't sink in at any points. Found it really comfortable and effective, as well as cost-effective. If you're really concerned about pointy stuff underneath that might rip it, throw a cheap yoga mat down underneath and you're more than prepared.
Does this pad have a non-slip bottom? My old klymit pad does but I don't see anywhere in the description if this one does too.
Asked by: jayj09
Hey jayj09! Thank you for the question. We personally took a look at this item and found that it this pad doesn't necessarily have any "grips" on the bottom of the pad, and isn't advertised to have an non-slip technology. With this being said, the surface certainly doesn't appear to be slippery either. Hopefully this helps!

Is there another way to inflate it? I know the moisture from your breath is not good for insulated sleeping pads.
Asked by: Connie
Hey there Connie, good question! You are right, large amounts of moisture inside insulated sleeping bags is not good. The valve is designed specifically to be blown up by mouth, and to minimize the amount of moisture that actually enters the pad during inflation. I hope this helps!
