The straightforward freestanding design is strong and stable when nasty weather strikes, and with the Quick Corner pole sleeves, setting it up couldn't be any easier. We purchased this earlier in the summer, to reconcile my inexperience with car camping, as I had only backpacked and had gear for that. This tent perfectly reconciles my partner's love of a big spacious tent without feeling too huge to me! Lots of clever features with this one as well, and still pretty lightweight despite the size.

While set up it survived Elsa (tropical depression) with 35 mile an hour winds! This tent is waterproof (didn’t get wet inside with over 7 inches of rain, various storms). This tent held up like a champ, even the pockets in the tent were able to hold water bottles, raincoats, and walkie-talkies without any problem. Nitpick: I thought the guy lines were a bit high, and didn’t allow the tent to be pulled outward (adding ventilation). Also on the door the mesh fabric is a bit higher. This ended up being like a bathtub where you had a very high side but The trade-off was ventilation. Our tester thought the tent was very well ventilated and moisture did not accumulate. Just a note this tent is really not intended for backpacking at 7+ pounds. However I highly recommend this tent!!!

I absolutely love the design and colors. The tent can get a bit hot and steamy during the day so be sure to keep the little slits open in the rain cover if you have it on (don’t worry they won’t get rain in your tent if open). Overall great functional design! Doors and clips for the cover and all!

We absolutely loved the double doors for easy access and convenience. The mesh top was perfect for stargazing and letting a breeze in. The double pockets were a great size and easy to reach in the middle of the night. The tent was super easy to assemble and take apart, pretty sure it took less than five minutes total. Overall very satisfied and looking forward to using it again!!

Great question, Jess! This tent has a minimum trail weight of 107 oz (everything needed to set it up and function correctly, eg. the bare minimum) and a regular weight of 117oz. Hope this helps!
