Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack I bought this backpack to use at horse shows. I use it every week, it is perfect. It Holds a lot of stuff and is light with good comfortable straps, plenty of pockets and very expandable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, as always My girlfriend and I now each have one of these packs and we LOVE them. Tons of space and holds up to whatever you throw at it. These packs are also very comfortable, you almost forget you have a 20lb pack on your back!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great backpack! My significant other convinced me to try a Kelty backpack over another brand, and I couldn't be happier. This bag has tons of space, is made of high-quality materials, and fits perfectly into the overhead bins of planes. It makes a great weekend or commute bag, and Moosejaw shipped it at LIGHTNING SPEED.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight capable weekend pack! I've used this on two weekend trips and biking to and from work for two months, and it's performed admirably. This is a bit larger than my previous pack, and is way easier to fit everything for a weekend trip. The main pocket is cavernous and easily able to hold all of my gear, although I haven't tried it with an entire tent, only split it between a two people. The back panel pocket is great for holding odds and ends, but I wish it had a little more space to expand. There's also a space between the back pocket and the main pocket which is useful for quickly stashing a rain jacket or something similar. The hip belt stows inside the back panel which makes the pack great for non-hiking use, but is supportive enough for actual hiking. Similarly the shoulder straps are in the Goldilocks zone of not too thick, not too thin and distribute weight well with the sternum strap. The side compression straps keep the pack from flopping around when it's partially full. However, I'd like some bottom compression straps in a future model to keep things from being a bowling ball at the bottom. The carrying strap by the neck is great, as is the strap on the back panel. However, there are two straps that bow out from the bottom on each side, and I"m not exactly sure what their purpose is. I may cut them off. The side pockets aren't super large, but they hold smaller items I don't want to lose in the main compartment, and are most likely smaller because of the "pass-through" features for stowing trekking poles and whatnot. I haven't used that feature, but it seems like a good idea. The water bottle pockets are great and can hold a full nalgene bottle in a couple different positions for easy grabbing. The fabric seems a little thin, but has held up to some minor scuffs and nicks on the trail and at work. We'll see how it holds up in the long term. It's water repellent enough to stand up to some minor drizzles, although I'd suggest getting a pack cover if you'll be hiking over a weekend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Day Pack I bought this pack for my fiance a couple of weeks ago. We still have yet to take it out, so I cannot say anything about performance on the trail, however, the pack fits him well and we both love the number of pockets on the pack. The only thing I was a little disappointed on is that the waist straps are not really padded like I though from the picture. Looking forward to testing the pack out soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I bought this backpack for my son. He loves it! It replaces the back pack he got in middle school, which is 20+ years old. The featues are just what he was looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this pack! I have been using this pack as my crag pack for sport climbing and it's my absolute favorite! It seems to have a ton more room than other similarly sized packs, you can stuff a ton in, literally. I have stuffed a 60m cord in a bucket, 3 harness (mine and my 2 girls), 3 pairs of shoes, and some odds and ends like cords and webbing, all into the main compartment. AND, because of kick butt engineering, you can easily unzip and access everything WITHOUT taking it all out! I fit my camera and binocs, first aid kits, various guidebooks, pruners for clipping along access trails, and etc. etc. in all the other compartments and pockets. draws and biners and such all clip to the gear haul strap running down the front of the pack (which is concealed when not in use and why it is not apparent in the photos). Another killer design feature are the little bands on the end of all the adjustable straps! They keep the extra strap rolled nice and tight and not hangin out all over, nice and neat! Lastly the ventilation, padding, and the strapping all keep the pack on the back, the load nice and balanced, and you from sweatin' it too bad!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bag for travel! I bought this bag a couple of months ago and it has held up very well with 25 pounds of camping gear in it. I took it with me to Paris and was easily able to stuff 5 days worth of clothes on top of a leather jacket and toiletries. The only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is that the grab-handle on the front of the bag puts a lot of stress on those plastic clips and I don't trust them to hold up.
