Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bang for the Buck Amazing sleeping bag for a great price. I'm 6 foot and the regular is roomy, not too short. Zips down to the feet easily to allow venting if needed. Light weight. Packs down small, perfect for my saddlebag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality!! Great quality sleeping bag. Slightly bigger than the some but perfect for me. I can roll and sleep on my side with no problem. (5’8 163lb) the zipper on the side is good quality doesn’t get stuck when open/close. Keep me warm throughout the night.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Down for the Price! Bought the Long Version because I am 6'1. Packs down small, isn't really a 20 F bag. More of a 30-40 F bag, but I knew that when I bought it. Fluffy down, nice and light, pair with a sleeping pad and you're good to go. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their first down bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent packable 3 season bag Have used this on two trips so far: climbing Long's Peak in RMNP, and a backpacking trip in Grand Teton NP. While I would recommend the addition of an additional compression sack (I went with sea-to-summit e-vent) this bag is light and warm, and I have been very happy with it overall

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sleeping bag Kelty offers a good balance between quality and price. I’ve used their bags in cold and wet backpacking, hunting, and camping conditions and have never been disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good bag for a good price Good 3 season bag for a reasonable price. Seems to be of good quality and does what it is supposed to do. If you need a bag to sleep in in the temperature range this is an excellent choice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kept Me Warm I bought this bag after a friend recommended it. We used them last weekend with the temp falling to 30F at night. I used it with my thermarest sleeping pad and I stayed fairly warm all night. It is light weight and fit great in my pack. For the price, I’d highly recommend this bag.

What size should I purchase if I'm 5'10" 170 lbs.

Asked by: Adam651
Thanks for the question! The size Regular will fit a person up to six feet tall. You don't want a ton of room at the bottom of your feet because heat will escape and you will not be as warm. You should be very comfortable with the Regular. Hope this helps!

I'm 6' exactly. I know the regular is 6' Max, but is there room for error there? Or will the bag be stretched to its limit and uncomfortable, even if it technically fits. Should I stick with the longer version ?

Asked by: brickparty
Hey there, you tall drink of water! You are good with just the regular. There is definitely room for error as you say. It can fit a person at exactly 6' comfortably.

What’s the difference between the women’s and men’s version of this bag? Is it just the should girth? I was trying to decide between the women’s regular or the men’s short. I am 5’4 135 lbs.

Asked by: Naturefreak
Hey there Naturefreak, good question! That's pretty much it, you nailed it on the head. If I were you, I would try this men's short bag; it has room from individuals up to 5'6", and I'm thinking should fit you well based on those measurements. I hope this helps!

What size compression sack will this bag fit into?

Asked by: Philmont Bound
Hey there, Great question. It should fit into a Kelty medium sized stuff sack just fine, and it will fit into a small size stuff sack, but some find that to be too compressed for their liking. Hope this helps!

I'm 6'4'' 280 lb hammock backpack, need room to maneuver, width length, in hammock will this bag work

Asked by: TomZ
Hey again, TomZ! This bag poses some of the same restrictions as the Ratio 15 you asked about. This bag has WAY better shoulder circumference so that is a definite positive. This bag, however, has a max user length of 6'6" so you might be pushing its limits and you really don't want to be scootching about on a hammock, I imagine.

Does anyone know if this sleeping bag is good for backpacking?

Asked by: kaylakush
Hiya kaylakush, thanks for your question! This is a really nice option for a novice or budget backpacker. It's comfortable and affordable but a little too heavy for most backpackers who are concerned about weight. Also, it's not as warm as some other sleeping bags. If weight and warmth aren't a concern, got for it! Check out this review of the bag: http://www.outdoorgearlab.com/Backpacking-Sleeping-Bag-Reviews/Kelty-Cosmic-Down-20
