Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
We want to make extra-sure you realize that you've added a special order item to your cart. These items take a little longer to get to you because we have to order from the manufacturer first. The "Est. Ship Date" is the date we expect items to leave our warehouse... so add your chosen shipping speed to see when it will show up at your door.

FaultyGAve this to my son for Christmas for his upcoming trip. As he was packing we realized this sack was defective. It is missing the clips on the lower straps that would allow it to be a compression sack. Completely useless. The other sacks I had purchased were fine.

Excellently Made- Compact To the Max!When I realized I needed a warmer, slightly bigger sleeping bag for an upcoming hiking/camping trip, I knew if I just had a way to make mine more compact, I could use what I had. I saw the Kelty Compression Stuff Sacks and since I wasn't sure what size I'd need, I bought all but the smallest. Turns out, my sleeping bag fits great into the L/Green bag. And I was able to use the M/Red bag for my clothing. If need be, I could fit both of them into the XL/Blue bag to compress them and use for the plane, but we'll see. Straps are heavy duty. I pulled and tugged at each to get my items as compact as possible, and there was no give at all. The fabric is sturdy and very well-made. And they fold back down to a small compact square to store them when not in use. I may just have to purchase the S/Yellow one to complete my set! I'll try to update my review with photos later, if possible.

Works amazingI bought these (each size) to try. I needed some extra room in my backpack for multi day backpacking trips. I’ve tried packing every way possible and still run out of room. We also do multi day kayaking trips and carry all our stuff in dry bags which run out of room quickly. I was able to cut my sleeping bag, tent, and pillow space in half without adding much weight at all. These are great and I think they will last a long time!

Very roomy and easy to compress!I have an old school flannel lined, bulky rectangle sleeping bag and my concern for sustainability and the environment has prevented me from getting rid of it. I've been looking fo a large enough stuff sack that was easy to pack this bag in and the Kelty XL Compression sack fit the bill! The sack seems well made and strong enough to resist snags or rips. Thank you!

Not bad. Didn't ripOk, so they're really light. I stuffed clothes in one, and a heavier sleeping bag in the other I bought. I'm wincing while pulling on the straps to compress the stuff because I'm somewhat expecting the seams to pop. Nope. Everything held great.

Lid is too smallThe lid on this compression sack doesn't cover the whole top of the sack, so when I try to compress my sleeping bag, it isn't able to press it down to size. Imagine if you tried compressing your bag by taking a balled up fist and pushing down on it. I don't know why they designed it this way.

Durable and small.Great for compressing bulky clothes to a small size for fitting in a backpack. Straps are heavy duty compared with other compression sacks I've had.
Looking for compression sacks for my kids’ Kelty Big Dipper 30s. Need Max compression for backpacking. Size recommendation?
Asked by: James21
Hey hey James21, thanks for the question! We grabbed a Big Dipper 30 bag and these compression sacks and gave them a go, this bag will fit best and most efficiently in the Large size compression sack. I hope this helps!

I have a two-person sleeping bag - North Face Dolomite Double 20. Uncompressed, it measures about 14" (diameter) by 20" (height). Which size compression bag would work?
Asked by: Thanh
Hiya Thanh, thanks for your question! According to The North Face, you would need about a 12" x 24" sack. Kelty doesn't recommend using their compression packs for a sleeping bag that big.
The large Exped Ventair Compression Bag is 25.6" x 11", which might work. You can find that item here: http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/product_Exped-Ventair-Compression-Bag_10304467_10208_10000001_-1_
Hope this helps!

Hi!. I'm interested in your Kelty compression bag for their Cosmic 20. The medium show's to be 8"x15" stuff size. According to the Kelty spec's, the stuff size for the cosmic is 8"x15.5". Will that 1/2 inch really matter? Thanks! Roger
Asked by: Roger
Hi Roger, good question! I think that extra half inch should be fine, there could easily be that much of a difference in your bag dimensions depending on how you pack it from time to time. I hope this helps!

Asked by: Matty
Hiya Matty, thanks for your question! Kelty recommends a size XL compression sack for that size sleeping bag. Hope this helps!

What size do I need for packing a sleeping bag for 2?
Asked by: Esperanza
Hiya Esperanza, thanks for your question! It would depend on the brand, size and whether the bag is down or synthetic. The North Face Dolomite Double 20 Sleeping Bag is synthetic and requires a 12 x 24 inch stuff sack, while the NEMO Tango Duo Slim Sleeping Bag needs a 10 x 14 inch stuff sack. My guess is that you will need the largest size, XL (11 x 22 inch). Hope this helps!

Looking for a large stuff sack that would accommodate an elementary size kids backpack. Also, I was confused because you show 4 bags and only 3 size choices. Thx.
Asked by: timm
Hiya timm, thanks for your question! There are four sizes of compression sacks - Small, Medium, Large and XL. The fit would depend on the size of the backpack. Here are the dimensions for all the sizes.
Small: 6 x 12" / 15 x 30 cm
Medium: 8 x 15” / 20 x 38 cm
Large: 10 x 18” / 25 x 46 cm
Extra Large: 11 x 22” / 28 x 56 cm
If you don't see a size listed that means it's not currently in stock, but we do get inventory in frequently so just check back soon.
Hope this helps!

Which stuff sack should i get for the North Face Eco Trail Synthetic Sleeping bag Long Version? I was thinking XL for a little extra room but i wanted to make sure w you guys prior to purchasing! thanks dudes.
Asked by: cruxkiller9000
That's a great question! The ECo Trail in Long has a stuff sack size of 12 x 22 inches. The Kelty Compression Stuff Sack SHOULD work in size XL, although it will be an inch short at 11 x 22”. If you can really compress that sleeping bag as much as possible, I think it will fit :)

I have a sleeping bag that fits in a 10x18 stuff sack. What is the appropriate size compression sack to use to make it fit in my pack better?
Asked by: hammockman
Thanks for the question! You will want a size Large Compression Sack. That will compress a 10 x 18 bag down to 10 x 10 inches. Hope this helps!
