Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, sturdy sandal. Runs small. Beautiful sandal. Looks a lot "dressier" than the Newport. I measured the 8.5 against my old Newports and the new styles run a 1/2 size smaller than the old. It offers good support and is comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Artificially fragranced shoes are not OK. I have always loved Keen's, but this newest model is using artificial fragrance to help with odor control. Anyone with a fragrance allergy or aversion won't be able to use these sandals. Not to mention, fragrances heavily pollute the environment and are not going to sit well with anyone who spends a lot of time in Nature. I hope they go back to whatever they were doing before, because there is no reason to put artificial fragrances in shoes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed These are my 4th pair of Whisper Sandals over the past 35 years. Have always loved them and they were always a perfect fit right out of the box. Consistently a 5-star sandal. But --- unfortunately no longer. The new pair are very high around the ankles and rub at all the wrong places. I am hoping I can break them over time or is it breaking my foot into the sandals. I am very disappointed in the new Whispers.

Bought a new pair to go to the Galapagos as we will be hiking snorkeling and kayaking. The perfect shoe. I had to return the shoe cause they were too big, normally I take a women's 11 wide. I bought a 12 but 11 is what i needed.

I wore these on a canoe trip to Boundary Waters Canoe Area & they really delivered. Whether I was trekking a portage with my canoe & gear or checking out the terrain & streams on a day trip, these shoes did the job, wet or dry! Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

On another website some said different colors fit differently. Is this true?

Hey, Jo! We, ourselves, have not had that feedback. I know the review you are speaking of and it could have simply been a manufacturing error on that one shoe (a mistagged size). They only provided 1 picture. So, here, we have yet to process a return due to sizing being off and you can even see from our own review page no one has had any strange discrepancy. As always, footwear returns are free, so if you feel that dubious about ordering couple pairs in different colors, you run zero risk as you can just send them back!

I have wide feet and always wear wide shoes.   Should these fit well. Have a knock off LL Beab pair that are plenty wide but knew they ran wide when I bought them but just did not last as long as I thought they would.

I've heard that this style isn't as wide at the Keen Newport Sandal so if you need something even wider, check that style out. I have plantar fasciitis and have to wear custom orthotics for the support.  So it’s very important to get great arch support. Do these have great arch support?

Hey there, Reallife! These sandals do provide some arch support, and have a fairly firm footbed. It's not going to come close to the support you'd receive from orthotics, though. If you're looking for firmer arch support, Keen suggests their Newport line of sandals, such as the Newport H2 Sandal. I broke my ankle in February and had surgery. I’ve healed but can’t wear flip flops or Sandler’s right now. I’ve Been wearing my tennis shoes everywhere. Even on boat but I take off when I get in the water. I just want something with support and cooler.
