I really wanted them to be roomy and warm and I got what I wanted in both. I normally where a size 9 wide in shoes but ordered a 9 on this boot. There is plenty of room in there so I can wear normal or thicker socks! Love that! Two days ago I had them on all day. Shoveling snow for two hours in the morning then went to town with some friends where we shopped up and down the snowy streets of the city. My feet stayed warm all day! I would highly recommend these!

Same questions from me(sorry)but here goes. What is the shaft height and would they fit someone with a wide forefoot and narrow heel well?

Thanks for reaching out! The shaft is approximately 5.5 inches. The fit is true to size but roomier than most hiking boots. It has a roomy fit in the toe box for those with wider feet. If you plan to wear thick socks I would go up a 1/2 size. It may be best to order a couple different sizes to try on at home. We offer free returns on all footwear for this exact reason.
