Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Pick for Urban and Trail Wear Purchased the shoe for a early summer road trip that combined urban and forest hiking stops on the itinerary. The shoe is a perfect match for both. Took a couple of hiking days to break in the footpads, and they size/fit turned out to be just right. I'm also continuing to wear them for general use as late fall turns to winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoe, true to size (11.5) I little stiff when I received them but they're actually breaking in great. I work in greenhouses and need a waterproof shoe that is actually waterproof. I have to say that these are the first shoes I've purchased that actually fit the bill. I've only had them for 2 weeks so far so I can't speak to the durability of them. I'll have to post another review if they start to fall apart.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK Shoes I'll start by saying I'm not a big hiker. I purchased these shoes for general outdoor wear. I've owned Keens of multiple types in the past and they are always comfortable on my feet. I like the wide forefoot and general fit. These NXIS run larger than my previous Keen shoes. I exchanged a size 12 for size 11.5 and still have plenty of room. I'd guess these run a whole size larger than my other Keen hikers. Also, previous Keens had a tongue that was padded and larger on the top that kept the tongue centered on the front of the foot. Not so with the new NXIS. I miss this feature. Over all though this is a well made, comfortable shoe.

The are light and balanced and felt good from the start. Since then I wear them for any outdoor activity and love them!
