One of the pockets opened at a seam (the pocket material was thin) but it looks like this material was replaced with something more durable in later versions. Just wish Kavu kept more of these in stock!

The integrated belt is great component - it is attached so no chance of losing it, However, a minor problem is that it will not slide for minor adjustments. This is not a major concern. Quality of the shorts is excellent and they wash well. A zippered pocket would be a nice addition. Overall, excellent outdoor short for various activities. Very happy with the purchase.

They are lightweight and comfortable. They also show off your teardrop you worked all winter long for. With that, I always have to buy bigger shorts to fit my legs and glutes and hem the waist. These fit good on the legs and glutes and the waist with the integrated belt actually fit.

The con, the front pockets are way to shallow so if (which I don’t recommend) you carry something the size of an iPhone 8 (6”) in the front pockets it will totally stick out.
