Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
Earn 10% back on all full-priced purchases on Moosejaw.com or at our shops (2.5% for discounted items).

Never slip!I have a pair of these and bought these for my daughter after hearing she fell on ice walking her dog. I use these hiking in CT & NY and never had an issue. I previously had a knock off brand and they lasted 1 hike after the spikes folded when walking on rocks. I highly recommend this brand.

Life saverI have two dogs… one squishy little border collie and one barrel chested lab/pittie. They each create force and torque on leash in their own way (physics is fascinating). But on icy wintertime walks these micro spikes are a life saver as I get to remain upright holding leashes instead of being on my backside. One pair in the car, one in the hiking bag.

WOWI am extremely selective about gear/brands that I purchase. Once you pass my quality control, I’m yours forever. These spikes are named “WOW” because I can “walk on water” after years of dicey icy slips with dogs pulling me across the Appalachians and now the Rockies. They clutch in to the ice, and I can do all kinds of matrix moves. Easy to put on and dirty pulling off when you get to feel that deep satisfaction of slinging mud/ice after a rewarding hike. These facilitate touches your feet into mother nature in a way I can now feel safe about doing year freaking round. I’m no longer perturbed about the regularly occurring winter weather because of my WOWs. They fit both my trailrunners and my snow boots—no need for separate spike purchases. They come with their own storage bag that slips into my pack. I’ve walked in ice, rocks, asphalt, and these solidly perform. 4 stars rated because I ended up having to take them off on a 3 hour trek in heavy unpacked snow on weeks of ice because ice kept pooling to the inside of the spikes and accumulating into boulders under my feet creating an unstable walk. They aren’t 100% helpful in all conditions I’ve encountered but sure fire with most. Recommended to everyone I know and my sweetums is getting a pair on 2/14. Shh, it’s a surprise. Thanks for making a XXX hardcore product and to MJ for honoring ID.Me which made these attainable.

MicroSpikes work perfectly! These just work perfectly in snow and hard packed snow or ice. I don’t even think about the added weight after I’ve been running for a few minutes and never worry about slipping. I attached a pic of my wife running in hard packed and new snow conditions. She wears a size 9 running shoe and I bought her a small that fits perfectly. Medium was a little too loose.

Loving these for PA winter hikingI've been wanting a pair of microspikes for years and finally bought the Kahtoola spikes because I want them to last. So far, they have been great for hiking in PA where we get cold temps (so ice) and snow on top if the ice. A friend of mine bought a cheap pair of microspikes from a large online seller and they broke on her first hike. I'm really hoping these will last so they don't end up in a landfill like my friend's spikes. Anyway, I really wish I bought these sooner!

Spikes you can trustI bought these in preparation for winter hiking and put them on for the first time after a good freeze covered the mountains in ice. They did their job! One thing that I could’ve thought a little bit more thoughtfully about was sizing though (I’m a size 8 women’s hiking boot and the smalls were slightly tight making putting on the spikes somewhat challenging, but still doable). Makes me wonder whether sizing up would have made the rubber last longer.

Good productThey have good quality and work perfectly. They were a little small for my hiking boots. I ordered small and my shoe size is 7.5. They are quit tight on my shoes
I wear 9.5 boots and shoe. Will the mediums work for my size boots? I know for boots, it's recommended to go with size large, but then I'll need mediums for shoes. Trying to stick with just one set for both pairs.
Asked by: Lee8
Hiya Lee8, thanks for your question! You could try size medium for both the shoes and the boots but you might need to force the rubber around the boot, which doesn't seem like a good idea. Or, you can try size large for both and make some adjustments when you wear the shoes. Some hikers use industrial strength zip ties to get a tighter fit. Neither option is ideal but it could help to avoid buying two pairs. Hope this helps!

Hi, my husband has a size 11 Columbia Daska Pass III hiking boot… According to your chart here, a medium fits 8-11 and a large fits 11-14. So which is best to buy for him? I certainly don't want it to be too large and slipping off…
Thanks, Jenn
Asked by: JennStone
Hey there, thanks for reaching out to us! Your name is Jenn, with a double N ?? I'm betting that second N stands for "...nice", cuz that question?!?!? ...Nice. So, honestly, you're going to be fine with either one! While the large wouldn't slip off, it wouldn't be as snug as the small. In cases like this, if you're worried....then I'd say go with the small. Can't go wrong! Hope this helps you out!

Do they fit man size 16 boot
Asked by: Remark
Unfortunately, the MICROspikes only go up to Men's boot size 14. Another brand option is Icebug, but again, I do not see an option available in your size. Please don't hate me.

Hiya Snow Cream, thanks for your question! If you don't see a size listed that means it's not currently in stock, but we do get inventory in frequently so just check back soon.

Hi Hope123, thanks for the question! According to the size guide, for a Women's 9.5 boot a medium would actually be the appropriate size. I hope this helps!
