Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dual Pocket Hate, Really? I really like this shirt. It's a slim fit and does have long arms (some of us have them, and a little bunching is fine for those with shorter arms--looks sporty and gives room for stretch when active on a bike or up a rope). Buttons give it a semi-dressy style, thus more versatile. Like a few others, I don't get the vehement, dual-pocket hate. Where did the one pocket look become the only acceptable one? This is not a dress shirt, it is a functional sport shirt. The dual pockets are useful, especially for travel and for a phone when using a headset. They also set this shirt apart from others with no, or one pocket. If one wants a different look out of this shirt, I suggest a seam ripper. Or better yet, just step up to being a little different.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Shirt Love this shirt have a few of them but would much prefer the older style with the one pocket instead of the Two pockets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Performance wool shirt I bought two of these shirts a few months ago for an upcoming Italian loaded bicycle tour in June 2017. I tried it out on a three day preparatory tour in Northern California early in April, about 50 miles per day. Fit: I am 5'10" 170 lbs with a smallish frame and the Medium fits comfortably, allowing air flow. The sleeves are a tad too long but my biggest complaint is that the central button panel tends to tilt to one side instead of being in the center. Looks like the fabric is cut on an angle? Performance: Wore the same shirt for three days straight and my girlfriend was (pleasantly) surprised it did not smell at all, even though she saw me drenched in sweat! Wool is king! Can't comment on durability yet. Laundering: I washed it in a front loading machine on cold gentle cycle using Kookaburra wash and hang dry - smells fresh and look like new every single time!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great piece of clothing, inaccurate advertisded weight Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. The fit is great, the wool feels very soft on the skin, very comfortable. Really my only gripe is that the advertised weight of the garment is 5.76 oz. The reality is I weighed this on my scale at home and it was more like 9.5 oz. I can understand maybe an ounce difference, but almost a 4 ounce difference on something advertised as less than 6? That was a little disappointing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as good as the old version The material is nice and the color is great, but the sleeves are too long. I'm not a fan of the new dual-pocket style. Wish they were still made in the USA. Overall it's ok, but I'm not in love with it like my previous OD heather button downs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed I have the older (single chest pocket) version of this shirt and like it very much. I didn't care much for the looks of this two-pocket version, but buying at a significant discount, I figured it was ok. Fit and quality are very good. Fit is like the single-pocket version: slim, but not tight. A thin base layer would be ok, but not a heavy one. The double pocket isn't too noticeable with the stone color. What's disappointing is that the sleeves are now two-panel instead of one. So now, rather than the sleeves being a single piece of fabric, there's a seam that runs down the front and up the back (like a giant U). It goes about halfway down from the shoulder to a a bit above the elbow. You can just see it in the photos on the website. It doesn't stand out like a sore thumb, but for a shirt that I was planning to wear to the office on casual Fridays, it's enough to make me think twice about wearing it (that, and having two chest pockets instead of just one). Also, they now included a spare button, which is nice. But, rather than sew it to the bottom of the shirt tails, they stitched it to the care label, right smack in the middle of the care instructions. So, if I want to read the instructions, I have to constantly move the button around. It's not an annoyance, since I just need to read it once, but it kind of hints at a lack of thoughtfulness. I gave it 3 stars for the quality and fit, but I wouldn't buy another. I'll wait for the old version to come back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it Love the shirt. I bought some time ago what it seems to be the same shirt but in short sleeves and decided to go now for this one. I love the feeling and fitting of it. Don't really understand the hate reviews regarding the pockets. I could totally do without them, but they have not ruined the shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As closet o Metro as I probably get This gorgeous purple/plum shirt feels so good you'll never want to take it off. On its own it works or dressier days or more casual and takes a t-shirt or a 150 long-sleeve to give it a little more warmth.
