So good that I bought 2 more colors (1 not offered here because it was a sale item & the other Navy – which was not available in my size here at Moosejaw) from Howler Bros. I'm generally a size 33 in nearly everything but these shorts were too tight, so I bought the 34 and the fit is good.

They are perfect. Comfortable for hiking, dry quickly after a dip in the lake and still look great when I am ready to drop in for a burger and a beer. The inside drawstring tightens them if necessary when they get wet after a dip in the lake.

When I went to try them on, it felt like I was trying on a size 28 in the waist, whereas the legs were built like a size 40. Absolutely ridiculous looking. Strongly recommend against these shorts.

What is belt loop size?  Will it accommodate a 4 inch belt?
