Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

The Unna 1 Person Tent by Hilleberg. An Ultralight, fully free standing dome tent, the Unna is both supremely simple and highly versatile. It is ideal for journeys in any season where low weight is a high priority, and where the terrain makes for tricky pitching conditions. Since its outer tent is made with Hilleberg's ultralight Kerlon 1200 - whose 12 kilo tear strength is still far stronger than most "expedition" tent fabrics - the Unna is a fine choice for long or short trips in exposed and/or above tree line in all but the worst conditions, and for use in more protected areas any time. Its dome design handles snow loading quite well, making it suitable for short term base camp use, while its roominess and light weight lend themselves very well to mobile journeys, where you pitch your tent each day. Rather than a vestibule, the Unna has a spacious interior that easily accommodates the occupant and gear - or, in a pinch, the occupant and another person. And by disconnecting a corner of the inner tent, one can create both a virtual vestibule and keep the inner tent dry while entering or exiting in rainy conditions.
The fully free standing Unna is supremely easy to pitch nearly anywhere - rocky shores, narrow ridgelines, dense forests (or, of course, even on "perfect" tent sites) - and it boasts an impressive amount of interior space. Add to that its eminent stability and impressively light weight, and it's no wonder that it has become a favorite of paddle tourers, year 'round backpackers, mountaineers, cycle tourers and casual campers alike.
FEATURES of the Hilleberg Unna 1 Person Tent
Outer tent fabric is Kerlon 1200 and the poles are 9 mm, which make tent very lightweight, strong and stable
Offers all season construction tent wall that can be extended to ground and mesh areas are backed with adjustable fabric panels
Dome construction with two poles provide good strength and ample head room while keeping the low weight
This tent can be used ideally for one person with a nice amount of space
Separable inner and outer tent for simultaneous pitching
Free standing dome design requires no pegs for pitching. This tent contains poles system to make for quick and easy set up.
Single entrance tent with single vestibule configuration allows for easy entrance and storage space
Add an optional footprint that will cover the outer tent area including the vestibule. It can directly connect to the tent, and can be attached while pitching.
Inner tent is replaceable by a mesh inner tent
The complete tents outer or inner tents can be used separately. For the pitching the inner tent alone it requires optional pole holders.
Designed for short and long trips in less harsh environments and conditions in all seasons like the forests in winter and summer
Great for withstanding heavy storms, but the lighter weight is not ideal on super harsh extended trips
Capable of withstanding heavy storm conditions, and the lighter weight is why some experienced hikers take this along instead of a more durable and heavier tent
Outer tent goes all the way to the ground for awesome all weather protection
Designed using lighter weight zippers and inner tent and floor fabrics to keep the weight at a minimum

Perfect! Just perfect! An investment piece for those solo nights out, Hilleberg again does not disappoint. Once the tent arrived, I set it up in our gear room to check out it's construction, configuration, and features. I was surprised by the versatility of this shelter, and really value that I can set up the outer tent in the rain or snow rather quickly with the two poles and some stakes, and then from inside the outer tent I could deal with my gear, get some food in me, etc. It is possible to set up the inner tent most of the way inside the outer tent with the door zippered shut, with some careful moves and good flexibility. The fabrics are legit strong, and I love all of the features not just for what they do, but also that they are the kind of gear gram counters love. This shelter held up great in some gnarly 60 mph winds in Alaska, the one time I have been out in it so far. A great test, with more to come! Oh also, it is possible to squeeze two people who like to spoon in the inner tent zone, and there's more wiggle room without the inner tent of course. Our Big Agnes double wide pad fit nicely inside the inner tent. We would probably only opt to stretch this shelter's capacity in our mild Sierra summers with a chance of thunderstorms. The condensation fest in something this small during a big rain or snow storm might be the straw that breaks even the most enduring couple, haha!

Great TentJust finished a 7 day Sierra trip and really enjoyed the tent. A very high quality well designed tent and I particularly being able to pitch it and not have to deal with a fly sheet after. I purchased a footprint which just attaches to the bottom, Really quick and easy set up. I did have to practice a bit in getting the poles in and out of the sleevs. Ihihly recommend this tent.

A little tough to set up (for me)I have ordered three 4-season tents Big Agnes String Ridge 2, Hilleberg Unna, and Nemo Morpho 1p (not 4 season but many report using it as such) for an upcoming summer trek through Iceland. In the past I have used and loved 3 season tents from Big Agnes. I am 6'1" and like a lengthy tent. The Big Agnes set up was a breeze and has a ton of space AND a vestibule and probably worth the extra pound compared to the Unna due to the vestibule and the lack of ease I had in Unna pitching. The poles kept getting snagged in the Unna's sheaths and the pole sections separated inside it, particularly trying to insert the 2nd pole. Hilleberg's video to pitch it doesn't show insertion of the second pole (it just miraculously skips to the next step), but watching another homemade youtube of it, it looks like he had some trouble too but not as much as I did. I am sure Hilleberg is top notch quality but the Big Agnes is SO much easier to set up. Ultimately I will probably go with the Nemo Morpho though.
