Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

I recently received this absolutely wonderful Duffle and I want to do nothing more than talk about it with the same GRILLED passion Hank Hill has for Propane and Propane accessories.
I love Herschel and Herschel Accessories and LET ME JUST DUFFLE ALONG,
1. Does it fly well? Can I take it as a Carry on?
- YES MY KINGS AND QUEEEEENS!!, I recently went to Edmonton (why? im still asking myself that everyday. JOKING, Love ya'll #Go Oilers) And this bag successfully made it through as a carry on! It fits perfectly in the top storage. 10/10 easy to slide out. I was able to keep it positioned lengthwise so it was really easy to pull out when we landed.
2. The Colour, is it as pictured?
Colour me Basic.
- I got this duffle in Black with the brown straps, because unlike my HIGHLIGHTER YELLOW hard luggage that can be seen from the International space station. I wanted this one to be more blendable for my 6am flights. I don't need no one starting convos with me as we wait for coffee, standing there barely functioning. Lucky to be awake honestly.
3. Is it Light?
- For the quality and the structure it pretty light weight, you won't have to worry about it being any added weight as you haul it around.
4. Do the Zips, Zip? Do the Pockets, Pocket?
- This dufflin amazing bag has 3 pockets total ( the shoe 'pocket', the interior one, and the outside open pocket.)
Top Main Zip:
- No snagging, no pulling, no trying to keep the fabric tight. The structure of this bag makes it really easy to open and close.
Shoe Pocket:
- The pocket extends almost the entire length of the bag. Lil more than 3/4. So if your a big footed Queen or King, this should fit your shoes nicely!
Interior Pocket:
- The pocket is Mesh, so its really easy to see all the things you've collected like cool rocks, random receipts and probably your passport that has seen one too many margaritas spills.
Open Side Pocket:
- Wand a spot to quickly WHIP out your book? Phone? Or Passport? Then THIS IS THE POCKET FOR YOU BOO’S. She’s easy, she’s slim, she can hold all the things you need like that one girl you all know who holds 30 things clutched like a death grip in her grasp. She’s got you.
5. Is it spacious? Will it fit all of my items? Do you think I need to look for another size??
- STOP RIGHT NOW, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
If you are looking for that classic "weekend" size bag where you go off for 2-4 days. This is the perfect size. I am an overpacker, DO I need 10 pairs of undies, 8 shirts, three kinds of shorts, pants, and all of the skincare I own for 3 days?
Obviously the answer is ALWAYS yes. But, this fit everything I needed with room to spare. (see imgs below for what outrageousness I thought I needed for a 2 days trip)
6. How did it survive on the plane? Was it hard to move around, did it ever feel too heavy? Did you struggle with your noodle arms to get it in the overhead?
- First off, I did not struggle to get this on the plane. It was easy to walk down the isles with it infront or behind me. (obviously not to the side, no plane is made for people with handles of love)
- Herschel's straps always make it easy to carry, I used just handles and the cross body strap to walk around the terminals.
- I think the weight just depends on what you yourself are bringing. If it's basic like clothes and a toiletry bag then it's pretty easy. If you're lugging around bricks, then.....you do you boo. Get them gains. #2023 no judgment over here.
7. How does it feel? Does it feel durable? Does it feel like it will last?
- I honestly don't think I will need another Duffle for the foreseeable future, unless I get into a fight with a bear again, I don't see this ripping apart anytime soon.
The outside feels water resistant, it survived me dropping my coffee on it. The lining inside is really easy to wipe and wash down.....especially if you happen to spill your coffee the moment you receive it.
- I don't know if its machine washable, I would stick to spot cleaning. But, if you did need to wash it im sure theres some great care instructions they send that I never read because #YOLO.
Do not follow my YOLO anti-influencer lifestyle, it'll cost you more. But, good way to make excuses to buy herschel..so you do you MY ABSOLUTE QUEENS

It doesn't have a ton of stretch, it's not really built for that. But, that is also what makes it feel sturdier. I wouldn't be worried about it snagging on a rouge tree branch and the fabric catching or ripping. (yes tree branch, what we do in ur spare time is private)
8. Will you tell people about the new Duffle?
- I haven't shut up about the duffle since I got it, I have always wanted a Herschel one and finally bit the bullet.
WILL I SEE IT ACROSS THE AIRPORT? No.
Will it disguise me amongst the crowd? Yes.
I will remain one of the ones blended in with the crowd, but that's all I want when I have carry-on luggage and items more used in cars and bins.
Its durable, it survived camping, the airport and soon the HEAT OF A THOUSAND SUNS in Mexico.

Classic but with an upgrade![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved my old novel duffle but you can tell there's been an upgrade with this one. The fabric and zippers are a lot more durable than they have been in the past. Glad they didn't change the style or get rid of the shoe compartment either. It's a classic look that's going to last me another 5 years at least.

Stylish and Practical(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was in need of a Duffle for some trips I had planned, and I was lucky enough to get to try out this Novel Duffle. Safe to say, I love it! At first glance, its quite a stylish looking bag, with the leather handle strap and the clip on shoulder strap if need be. Quite spacious too inside, as i was able to fit a few outfits in there for my trip, while not having the big clunky feeling. But the best part of this bag has to be the side shoe compartment that has a separate lining from the main zipper, so you don't have to find another plastic bag to put the shoes in. All in all, just a great match of style and functionality and I would definitely recommend it!

Stylish and practicalI was in need of a duffle bag and was lucky enough to be given this bag to try out. To me, it is honestly such a perfect match of stylish and functionality. With the choice of a shoulder strap to clip on, or just carrying with the leather hand straps, you can choose just how you want to rock it. The bag itself is quite spacious, as i was able to fit a few outfits and towels in it for a recent trip. But my favourite feature by far has to be the shoe compartment on the side that gives a separate lining from main zipper. No more need to grab an extra plastic bag for your shoes. I would definitely recommend this bag to friends or just anyone looking for a nice sleek and practical duffle.

Good material and high qualityI am pretty happy with my purchase but the zipper is white color which is something I didn't like. If it was black or brown then it would be good for me.
This is my personal preference. Also a storage with chain inside would be good too.

Lightweight and SylishI got this a few months ago and have taken the bag on a few trips. Great for when you want to pack light. The bag looks small but holds enough clothes for a car camping adventure! Oh and it's stylish! Herschel customer service was great and replaced my bag when the zipper broke no questions asked.
