Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

FEATURES of the Helly Hansen Women's Long Belfast Winter Jacket
Helly Hansen Helly Tech
A waterproof, windproof, and breathable fabric to keep you dry and happy while exploring the outdoors, on water or land, when the elements are at their worst. The membrane prevents water from coming in while letting moisture (from body heat) escape. Stay outdoors, even in rain, snow or wind.
PrimaLoft Black
PrimaLoft Black synthetic insulation offers just the essentials for your backcountry needs. It provides ample warmth with minimal bulk and maximum breathability, in an extremely compressible package.
Durable Water Repellent
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) is a coating that is applied to fabrics which makes them water-resistant, or hydrophobic. A DWR finish doesn't interfere with breathability, which makes it perfect for adverse conditions in the backcountry.

Nice but not rightThe jacket was very nice but it wasn't for me, the fit wasn't the most flattering. It was boxy at the waist, but I could tell the technical aspects of this jacket were good.

Great for winter rainI like this jacket, it's good for rainy days in winter when you need some warmth. It's definitely a casual jacket, you wouldn't be wearing this with heels.

Nice level of insulation and coverageI picked up this HH black raincoat for a trip to UK. Weather was in mid to low 40 F and drizzled to all out rain almost every day. Worked great and was able to bypass opening and closing an umbrella. Color choices limited and black isn’t great in evening. Additional color options would be a plus.

Perfect coat for wet, cold weather!I love this coat! I live in Chicago and the first day I wore it it ended up sleating in April. The coat kept me both dry and warm and I questioned what I did before I had this coat. I'm 6 feet tall so I wish the sleeves on my Medium were longer. I could have gone with a Large but like how slim looking the coat is so I didn't want to compromise a worse fit for longer sleeves. I got the blue with the pink detail. The blue is a bit lighter and "dusted" than expected but I really like the look nonetheless!

Warm and waterproofI ended up going with a heavier jacket for winter, but I really wanted to keep this jacket for its warm and waterproof features. Its perfect for a rainy day when you just need an little more than a shell, or if you know you'll be moving around a lot and don't need a super warm outer layer.

Perfect parkaThis is a flattering parka that’s insulated without being too puffy. I love the A line. I get lots of compliments. I’m a curvy girl and can wear a light sweater jacket underneath for days below 30°F. I wore this in -8° with an insulated skirt and a thick sweater for a 3 mile round rip walk to our glacier and was comfortable. This is my second Belfast jacket. It’s my favorite winter jacket.

Warmth without the weightI use this Helly Hansen Belfast coat when my Canadien Goose is too heavy and warm for the weather. I purchased this coat mainly for rain protection and warmth as my North Face jacket is too short and my rain coat is to thin - not warm. It has not rained since my purchase about 3 weeks ago. Therefore I did not test it out to see if truly rain proof. I purchase a size small - I am 5'2" and 118 pounds. It fits great. However, if I weighed more - I probably would need a size medium - to give room around the hips.

Great jacket and serviceBeautiful jacket. The color is exactly what I expected. It’s warm and and very stylish. I have received numerous positive comments in a very short amount of time.
I'm petite (5'). Will this jacket be too long for me?
Asked by: redraider
Thanks for the question! The back length of this Winter Jacket is 33.85 inches (based on a size Medium). Depending on how long your torso is, I am guessing this jacket will hit you at the knee. So really it depends on your preference. I say give it a try and if it doesn't work out, just let us know and we will get you a pre-paid UPS label. I hope this helps a little!

Does jacket run true to size? Need something for Ireland in November and don't want something too heavy for this thin blooded Californian. Seems that I am running between a L and XL on a lot of insulated Waterproof jackets.
Asked by: Tory333
Hiya Tory333, thanks for your question! I am usually between sizes as well and the larger size fit me perfectly. The Belfast jacket seems more than appropriate for a trip to Ireland! Happy Travels!

Is this jacket machine washable?
Asked by: Mimi
Hey Mimi!
Great question. Helly Hansen recommends washing jackets made with Helly Tech fabric with warm water in a commercial washing machine. Do not use fabric softeners, and use a liquid technical wash (such as Nikwax) to preserve the DWR treatment. A second rinse cycle is preferred, and tumble dry to reactivate DWR treatment.
Hope that helps!

I am 4'11 and weigh 155 what size should I buy? Does it have a double zipper?
Asked by: Kessie12
Thanks for the question! YES, the Long Belfast Winter Jacket has a double zipper. Based just on height & weight, I would say go with a size Large. But that could vary based on chest & hip measurements. We always suggest utilizing the size chart for the most accurate suggestion. I hope this helps a little!

I’m going to Paris in December. I understand it gets down to 0 degrees. Don’t want anything bulky or heavy ( since you do a lot of walking) but I need the warmth. Will this work for my needs.
Asked by: Littledebbie
Hiya Littledebbie, thanks for your question! The average temperature of Paris in December is 41 degrees Fahrenheit (5 degrees Celsius) so you won't be needing anything too heavy. This jacket would be a really nice option for you. It is lightweight but still warm... and it provides protection from winter elements. I happened to try on this jacket (for science!) and it is really comfortable. Go for it!

I'm looking for a spring and fall rain jacket to wear in Wisconsin when the temps are in the 40s and 50s. Would this jacket be too warm?
Asked by: alliemac
Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out to us! You've got your eyes on a great jacket. Not only is it waterproof, windproof and breathable, but it also has 100 grams of Primaloft Black insulation! You should be fine with jacket when it comes to the spring and fall seasons of Wisconsin. At worst, you would have to (maybe) layer a bit .But otherwise, you'll be fine!!!
Hope this helps you out!
