Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Top Quality!I am plus size hiker (size 22) and this bag fits so well with lots of attachable hooks and pockets. It is very comfortable and best of all size inclusive, I can't wait to buy a multi-day pack from this company.

Perfect size for a daypack!This backpack seems to have everything I need for my hiking trip in the Swiss Alps in about a month. It’s a good size to use as a daypack for this trip, to carry layers, cell phone, water bottles & hiking poles. I think I’m going to move it!

Gregory rocksThis size and shape of this handy little pack makes it perfect for those all day hikes on the coast here in Oregon. LOVE this. Gregory rocks the design and I love all the pockets, as well as the fact that I can put in a water reservoir vs packing bottles, which tend to fall out on the trail. Great for anyone, really, except large men with large appetites and thirst.

Maya 16 and Maya 12 Hydration/DaypacksI have been an outdoor enthusiast (skiing, hiking, camping, mountaineering, sea kayaking) for 60 years and I think I'm a pretty good judge of good gear.
I bought the Maya 16 pack because of the pockets in the hip belt, but this is the best pack I have ever owned. It is incredible value for the money. I got it for BC skiing and I like it so much I bought a Maya 12 for summer use. I love both these packs and will continue to purchase Gregory products.
-Pack is very comfortable, hugs the body, doesn't slop around even when full. Shoulder straps and hip belt are well-padded and extremely well-designed ergonomically. Such a pleasure to wear a pack that doesn't hurt!
-Lots and lots of pockets are intuitive to pack, and the entire pack has amazingly large capacity that holds my cold-weather extras, plus a first-aid kit, plus food and a small thermos.
-Lots of adjustment points: top & bottom of shoulder straps, torso length, outside pockets cinch down securely.
-Zippers are plentiful, well-designed and easy to use; I really like the pulls which are easy to grasp even with gloves on.
-Hydration tube system is easy to thread and three retainers on the shoulder straps hold the tube in place better than any pack I've ever used.

Perfect packI worked as a nature school teacher for years and could never find a pack that fit correctly. I’m really glad Gregory came out with this, I’m planning to replace my 65 liter pack with one from the plus size line.

Just What I WantedSo glad I bought this bag. I’m super short (5 ft) and I love how this bag has an adjustable torso feature. It allows me to get a really custom fit from the bag and makes sure all the straps hit at just the right spot. It’s also super comfy. The BioSync technology is uses ensures the bag moves with your body. I was concerned that at 16L it might not be too small, but it fits my windbreaker, sweatshirt, first aid kit, water, snacks, lunch, phone, wallet, and keys just fine.
What size hydration bladder will this bag accomodate?

Hey there! When using this pack, the space for a bladder is between the back panel and the pack itself. It's stored externally. That means any size bladder should work for you. Huzzah!

This is a frameless pack. For a daypack with a frame, I personally really like the Osprey Sirrus and Deuter Speed Lite series, though the best pack for you would depend on the individual features that you value/require the most.

Going on safari need a back pack for my SLR camera water bottle and may be some snacks my camera will have a protective skin on it can't chose between osprey daylite maya16 or maya10 I am 5"10 if that makes a diiference

Hey there,
Thanks for reaching out to us. To start, the Gregory Maya packs are specialized for women. They are both the same except for the pack capacity. The Maya 10 is a 10L pack, and the Maya 16 is 16L. The Osprey Daylite is in-between, at 13L.The packs have similar features and are just over 1lb in weight and can hold up to 20 lbs. I think all packs would be sufficient in size for a water bottle, snacks, and camera. One difference to consider is that the Osprey Daylite has an outside, side compartment for a water bottle. I'd definitely recommend trying on the pack(s) before buying, if you are able, to see which one fits the best. Have fun on Safari!
Gregory backpacking packs are available in a size range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of each size of a pack. The steps below are a guide for measuring your torso size.
The hipbelts on Gregory backpacking packs are adjustable to fit a range of sizes. A simple rule of thumb is that the ideal distance between the ends of the hipbelt pads after tightening should be 3 to 5 inches. However, the most important criteria are that the hipbelt wraps clear over the side of your body and that it rests 1 inch above your iliac crest. This allows proper load transfer to your skeletal structure, which maximizes comfort and minimizes energy expenditure.
HOW to MEASURE TORSO SIZE 1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.
2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.
3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
