Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.
Are you Sure?
Our Rewards Program is completely FREE and easy to use.
By opting out, you forfeit all the Moosejaw Rewards Dollars your currently have in your account, which is basically throwing away free money. What would your grandmother say about that? If you're 100% sure, please click "OptOut" below.
Earn 10% back on all full-priced purchases on Moosejaw.com or at our shops (2.5% for discounted items).

Best in class!!Great pack for the 2-3 day ultralight adventurer! Bought this for my 18 year old daughter. Hard to find a better fitting pack with support that makes the experience of backpacking enjoyable. Very comfortable with lots of room!

Great small winter pack from
Perfect winter pack for wee lassI’m 5’0 with a short torso. I need a small in length, lightweight pack with maximum adjustability. This one wins. I also love Gregory for maximizing the ability to organize and access the inside of the pack. This beats other brands that, once this size, resemble a large sack. I need to find my things easily and quickly, especially in winter.

Great pack for long hikesThis is the best pack I’ve ever owned. It kept my back dry during an 18 mile hike in the Adirondacks. Very comfortable on my shoulders and hips. I’m 5’2 and the small/med fit perfect.

Nice day packI like the pack. Its a good size to carry my ten essentials and distributes the weight well. One draw back is how you hand your water reservoir. I had to use a two clips to hang my existing reservoir since I don't like it sinking to the bottom of my pack. I didn't realize the pack was setup to use Gregory's reservoir only.

Just the beginning...This pack is exactly what I needed. Plenty of room for day trips with pockets in just the right locations. I especially love how the frame moves with me; the free float suspension makes a heavy load super easy to manage. Looking forward to many years with my Jade 38.

Perfect size extended day packI was looking for more than a 20ish L bag, something for extra layers, some camera gear, food, water, the best part is the frame and hip belt make it feel like a smaller pack but with all the bells and whistles. This would be perfect for a quick one night pack too, I Love it for the fit and space. It’s been comfortable hiking in PNW and WY even in 90’s + weather

For Backpacking/Hiking - YES! Travel - Maybe notThe XS/SM fits my 15" torso great on the Small setting! It differs from the Deva not only in capacity but in suspension style. Its back is certainly more breathable and torso length more customizable. However, what you gain in breathability you lose in lumbar support. The mesh FreeFloat backing is reminiscent of the osprey's anti-gravity system with less of the "hip clamping" belt. My back does appreciate the increased support of the Deva's Response A3 backing over the Jade, so much so that I've opted to carry my 60L Deva over my 38L Jade. The added weight is worth it for the amount of support my back gets from it.
I've taken this pack everywhere, from the Grand Canyon to New Zealand to the Antarctic Ice! I purchased it hoping it could double as a travel carry-on/hiking pack. It's certainly a great hiking companion but not the best travel bag. The straps, the brain, the compartments - they were all quite cumbersome on 15-hour flights, 1-day layovers and endless unpacking/repacking of adventures. I'm excited to try Gregory's Proxy 45L travel pack for my next flight. The Jade 38L capacity is a great size for ultralight backpacking or fully loaded day hiking.
Things I've Learned:
1. No matter what bag you're wearing, you DONT want your heavy stuff below OR above the pack's frame. You want to arrange heavy items against the middle of the frame in order for the weight to transfer to your hips via the hipbelt. Use lighter stuff around the heavy stuff and cinch down your side straps to hold things in place.
2. You fit the pack, the pack doesn't fit you. A wiser, more experienced backpacker taught me this. You must tell the pack where you want it to fit you. In order to do that, you have to adjust what feels like endless straps at times, but it's well worth it when you find your sweet spot. I suggest a bottom-up process starting with the hipbelt (buckled snuggly at the belly button,) shoulder straps brought JUST to tension, sternum strap comfortably strapped, and finally the load lifters for a final shift of the weight onto the hips. If your feeling the weight in your shoulders/upper back try playing with the tension of your shoulder straps and load lifters. I'll often loosen my shoulder straps to drop the weight down on my hips and then bring the load lifters forward to balance the load.
3. Readjust each time you put your pack on. Yup, things are constantly changing from where we feel the tension in our body to how the pack's weight is sitting on our body.

Size Guide
Gregory Women's Packs
Gregory backpacking packs are available in a size range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of each size of a pack. The steps below are a guide for measuring your torso size.
The hipbelts on Gregory backpacking packs are adjustable to fit a range of sizes. A simple rule of thumb is that the ideal distance between the ends of the hipbelt pads after tightening should be 3 to 5 inches. However, the most important criteria are that the hipbelt wraps clear over the side of your body and that it rests 1 inch above your iliac crest. This allows proper load transfer to your skeletal structure, which maximizes comfort and minimizes energy expenditure.
HOW to MEASURE TORSO SIZE 1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.
2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.
3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
