Rated 4 out of 5 by from just what I was looking for I was looking for a "bridge" pack, something that was in between ultra light and a heavy weight pack, I still have reasonable amount of volume and pockets to stuff my gear in, the pack does look like it would not be as durable as your conventional pack but I expected that and I am careful with my gear anyways, I like the adjustable hip belt and the torso adjustment, setting it up in house with it loaded, it feels great and in a few weeks I'll take it out and give it the dirt bag test, it comes with a rain cover and a daypack/stuff stack, you can strip it down even more if you want, and still has a sleeping bag compartment, I know - big deal but I can still access the lower have of the pack for retrieving small gear instead of dumping the contents out to find that one item

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Paragon 68! Used the Paragon on a number of trips both in the Rockies and Isle Royale National Park in Michigan. Wanted a pack under 4 pounds that could still carry a heavy load when needed -- the Paragon performed well. Never thought I would use the "day pack" and ended up using it frequently. Bag took a beating on my trips, happy to say it works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight and still comfortable As a Ranger for The Dyrt, I get to test products and recently got the Gregory Paragon 68 that I took on a backpacking trip in the Cheaha Wilderness. I was really excited to test out this pack because all my previous packs have been heavy and bulky. Right off the bat I was impressed with the design and placement of pockets and straps. There was plenty of internal storage for me to fit all my gear and several external easy access pockets that are good for items that you need more often. One of my favorite pockets was the hip belt that had a large enough space for my iPhone which is an upgrade from most other packs. In terms of the lightweight design of the pack I was very happy with how little comfort was sacrificed to cut down the bulk. I hiked with it full of gear for 7 miles and my hips were still perfectly happy at the end. Overall, I would highly suggest checking out this pack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Balanced, ready to move Top reasons I like this pack: Comfort - the most welcomed feature is that no matter how I packed it, the bag was balanced and solid on my back. I liked all the extra ways to make it sit better, like extending the length of the backpack straps themselves through a strap on each that connected to the main pack. Padding - there was wicking and padding everywhere, and because of #1 on this list, no part of my body got sore or squished. The pack has a firm aluminum backing, upping the even feel. Portability - it holds much more that you think, in a more streamlined way too, if that makes sense. The main material is slickery, making it easier to put things in and take them out. While I didn't prefer the top and bottom section to only be separated by a square piece of material attached at four corners (having the sections completely separate and zip open-able is what I'm used to), I can also see that cloth-like square as easily removable, quickly opening up more storage possibilities. Versatility - there's a smaller string pack inside, for little side trips in the event you'd like to leave the main pack behind. Of course, we took that out right away and now it's in a different location at our place. So we like it already. ; )

What is the product warranty that Gregory has for this product?

Asked by: Slazer
Thanks for the question! Gregory offers a lifetime warranty on their packs. They "guarantee to you, the original purchaser, that this product will be free from defects in materials or workmanship, for as long as you own it." I included a link to their entire policy below. Hope this helps!

- + Size Guide

Gregory Men's Packs

Gregory backpacking packs are available in a size range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of each size of a pack. The steps below are a guide for measuring your torso size.

The hipbelts on Gregory backpacking packs are adjustable to fit a range of sizes. A simple rule of thumb is that the ideal distance between the ends of the hipbelt pads after tightening should be 3 to 5 inches. However, the most important criteria are that the hipbelt wraps clear over the side of your body and that it rests 1 inch above your iliac crest. This allows proper load transfer to your skeletal structure, which maximizes comfort and minimizes energy expenditure.

1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.

2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.

3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
