Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bag to match my Gypsy Soul. I bought this bad boy for a thru-hike I was planning, but now I don't wanna take it off. It's super comfy, has lots of room for all my stuffage, and the color scheme makes me feel like a champion in the woods. If you wanna throw all your stuff in a sack and join the drifter/hobo life, buy this bag, cram your stuff in it (It holds a bunch) and then tell your friends, boss, and family "Peace and Chicken Grease" as you strut out into the woods to make a name for yourself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pack for any over night(s) trip! I got this pack to bring with me on my thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail this summer. I saw great reviews so i picked one up! ,,,,It it a roll top pack so it can store tons of gear and the padding on the hip belt and shoulder straps is amazing! I broke my coller bone last year so i had to find a pack that can be adjusted so i have no pain. ,,It says you can remove the frame sheet to make the pack lighter, which is true. But the shoulder straps clip into the frame sheet for most of the support. it can be done, but I have seen better designs for this in other packs. ,,But since i am keeping the frame sheet in its not a problem :D ,,,,Cons:,,It doesnt come with hip belt pockets,,Not many options for attaching gear to the outside of the pack. ,,,,Pros:,,Lightweight,,Super comfy!,,Tons of room inside,,Fully adjustable to fit,,Expensive, but worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vedry comfortable - Perfect size I broke this pack in at the Gila Wilderness. I wore it up to 10 hours per day with no discomfort at all. Actual weight of my pack is 2lb 13oz (Reg torso mid belt). Nice suspension system, it breathed well. Extendable roll top worked well as my load shrunk during the outing. It's simple design is a plus for me, it also helps keep the weight down. The large stretch pocket on the front of the pack worked very well for stuffing my fleece jacket and base layers as each day warmed up. My gear is fairly small/light but not UL, the 60 liters is perfect for me.

I am taking my first multi day hike 5 1/2 days, most of my gear I would categorize in the lightweight range, however I will be carrying a rather large 3 man tent/around 7 lbs to accommodate two others in my party, is this enough pack? Or should I step up

Asked by: Stevie
Hey, Stevie! So, this pack can definitely work depending on the pole situation. I can tell you what I did on an extended trip (not this exact pack, but similar size). I had a super non lightweight tent with monstrous poles. I kept the poles on the outside in one of the nalgene / water bottle mesh pockets on the side and used the pack tightener straps to help stabilize the poles to the pack. I also keep the rainfly completely separate from the tent body and not really folded tightly. Typically my tent is at the very top of my pack and then before I shut or secure the lid, I would loosely pack the rainfly all over the top (acts also as extra water protection!) Another alternative: If one of your buddies has room, you could always have one take the rainfly in their pack, the other person gets the poles and you the tent body! Team work makes the dream work!
