But there is a weird seem to runs down the middle of the bottom, and every time I took a step, it would throw me off balance to the left or right. I wanted to love them, but the seam down the middle was just too weird to wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully Designed. Perfect Fit I've been waiting for well designed tall indoor "slipper" to replace the ugly suede and fake sheep's wool ones I've had for years. I purchased size 44 for my usual men's size 10 and they fit perfectly. They are comfortable and stylish. Expensive? Yes. But I anticipate I'll have them for many years. If I need to head outside the rubber sole is very grippy and sturdy. If you're wearing these as boots be aware that there's not a lot of internal support. The heel has no lift.

These slippers have hit the mark on all fronts. He works from home and barely takes them off since the cooler weather has hit. 10/10, would recommend.
