Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! I am a smaller built woman who has a terrible time finding pants that actually fit without having 3 inches too much in the waist or 3 inches too much in the hips. I do have a boyish build (straighter thru the hips). I am 5'04 and 113lbs. Those that actually fit don't have usable pockets. These do!!! I am able to stuff everything I need (including a bag of dog treats) for 3-5 mile hikes in my pockets. I do wish they had a back pocket or 2 for my small wallet, but it does fit in my front pocket without restricting movement. The price made me hesitate, but with a life time guarantee I took the plunge. I am so glad I did! I do wish they were a little lower cut. The waist comes up higher than I thought they would and not something I am used to. As far as sizing, I read reviews for that info and based on what I read, I ordered a size up (36). They were way too big. I returned the 36 for a 34 and found a perfect fit. I think it depends on how you are built as to whether or not they run small. If you have hips (I don't) you will want to size up. I got the dark olive color. I didn't think I would like it, but I do like it! The color goes with everything and looks nice enough to go to dinner in them. Plus it doesn't show the dirt and dust as much as my black hiking pants.

She had to return the first pair due to the discrepancies between US and European sizing. The second pair was still was too tight though she went up two sizes. She then tried on my men's vidda pro ventilated and found they were a perfect fit... who knew? Moosejaw was great, as the accommodated our request to return the second pair and exchange it for a men's. I might be secretly hoping she has a weight fluctuation so I end up with another pair...lol

I’m in between sizes (33” waist) so went up to 34” and like the fit. Four stars for being a bit short waisted which makes them tight when I squat down.

I wear them for daily out and about, hiking, backpacking and relaxing. I am 5"2", 125lbs, strong build. I usually wear 2 petite in Prana and Lucky Brand. The US 29/EU 38 fit best. A little roomy, but the 36 was way to tight in the hips (which l hardly have, l am a bit of a boy build). I have washed them tons and they still look great. Well worth the expenditure. I bought 2 other pair I different styles, same size.

HOW to MEASURE
WAIST: Measure around the natural part of the waist, often the narrowest part of the waist just above the belly button.

SEAT: Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest point of the hips and seat.

INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to where your pant leg typically falls, often near the ankle bone. Please note that Fjallraven Raw Inseam pants do NOT come hemmed so will have a longer inseam.
