Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:

Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.

A jacket for cold weatherThis jacket is good on very cold days, windy snowblowing type weather. I actually get a little too warn for walking in warmer 33 degree days. Take a look at that upper body shape in the picture, there's good and bad in that. Plenty for room for good arm movement, no constriction if you have a chest. It's not slimming, it looks kind of bulky on. For me I wanted warmth over stylish look so it works for me. I'm usually sz medium and that's the sz I purchased.

Love the inner sleeve cuffBest part of this jacket is the inner sleeve cuff that's made of a material similar to yoga pants. So soft and keeps the cold out. Love that the sleeves are extra long too! Only qualm for me is the shoulders appear bulky, but that probably keeps it much warmer.

The best ever!I was looking for a light weight, warm and with water repellent quality. It was difficult to find but i found it in this coat! It is so light that I was thinking that it couldn’t possibly be warm. I was wrong! I wore it in a 10degree temperature with only a thin shirt and i was sweating! The fit is perfect, i am 5’5” and weigh 150. Medium size was too tight on top but perfect every other way. I had to get a large only because i like a little wiggle room on the top part ( i wear 36C) .

High quality and warmLove this jacket, it’s very warm and light. Feels like it’s made very well. Fits true to size and is very flattering. I love the buckwheat brown color, it’s more like a rich gold color that brown.

Moosejaw = 5 stars for cust serv, but not the coatI have used the Moosejaw website for a few purchases now, and have been very pleased with the customer service and speed of shipping. This coat was a bit disapointing for me though. It's not as warm as I expected for the price. Maybe in keeping it packable into it's tiny pouch, they skimped on the down fill. If that's what they did, fine, but don't sell it for that cost, and don't advertise it as being the warmest of coats. On a positive note, I really appreciate the shoulder cut. I have unrestricted arm movement- the best for any winter coat I've ever owned. I'm 5'10" 160, the medium fits nicely and is flattering enough.

Beautiful, warm, and stylish!I’d been eyeing this coat for quite some time, and decided to finally buy it for my upcoming winter trip to Germany. I needed a coat that was going to provide warmth but wasn’t big and bulky to travel with. I haven’t gone on my trip yet, but I did fold it into the little travel bag it comes with and it will certainly be much easier to bring on on the airplane thank my bulkier coats. I have also gotten to wear it a couple times as the weather changes and it’s such a warm and cozy coat! It traps my body heat in very well. It also is just a really really good looking coat. It’s a nice fit. Very flattering, and allows me to wear a sweater if I choose to do so under the coat. It leaves me with plenty of space in the arms, and has about 2 inches of room when zipped up. The length is perfect, it stops just below my butt, which is phat lol. I’ve listed my measurements of myself for reference, since I struggle to find good fitting clothes online. I purchased the XL and my measurements are as follows:

Weight: 230 pounds
Hips: 48”-49”
Bra size: 36 DD or 38 D
Waist: 38”

Lighweight, warm and stylish.I wanted a lightweight coat that was stylish but kept me warm. The Snow Flake Parka fit the bill. I have a Patagonia Coat but is to thin for our cold winters in the Northwest. The Snow Flake Parka also is roomier allowing for me to wear sweaters underneath the jacket.

I love this parka, but the top of the arm is a tad spacious and puffy. I’d prefer it was a little slimmer. Could a tailor take it in a bit to narrow the top?

Thanks for the question! Unfortunately, we do not have a tailor here at Moosejaw, so I can't give you a definite answer. I think an experienced tailor could possibly alter the top of the arm for you, but the down-filling could be a challenge. If you decide to purchase, I would take it to the tailor before taking off the sales tag. Also, please keep in mind that any alterations will void the Fjallraven Limited Lifetime Warranty. How do I clean my jacket?

Hey there,
Care instructions from Fjallraven are below:
Many of our down products can be machine washed at up to 40°C. But you should always check the product’s care label first. And to save energy and to extend the lifetime of your gear, we recommend only washing your down products when they really need it. If you see a dirty mark, it’s better to wash the area with warm water, mild detergent and a sponge.
It’s a good idea to run an extra spin-cycle without detergent after the regular cycle. This is just to make sure all the washing liquid has been removed. And don’t use a rinse aid.
You should never dry clean your down products. This chemical process damages the down.
It’s OK to tumble dry down gear; in fact, it can help restore the product’s fluffy airiness. But use a low heat and check the garment regularly to avoid overheating. Also, we suggest adding a clean tennis ball to the drum. This helps fluff up the down.
If drying naturally, choose a place that’s well ventilated and give your down gear a good shake to ensure the feathers don’t accumulate at the bottom.

How compressible is it when packing for trips and you don’t want to wear it through airports?

Thanks for the question! We asked our team to physically check on this Parka for you. It actually does come with a mesh stuff sack. It is very compressible and could easily flatten into the bottom of a suitcase. It should fit into an XS compression sack no problem. All in all, a perfect traveling outerwear piece :)

is this product waterproof?

Great question! Unfortunately, the Snow Flake Parka is not waterproof. The fabric will get saturated if you are in heavy rain or snow. My best suggestion is the Fjallraven Women's Nuuk Parka because it is insulated, waterproof, and windproof. I included a link below. I hope this helps a little!

FJALLRAVEN FIT NOTES All you need is a tape measure! Ask a friend to take your measurements while standing in a straight and relaxed position without shoes. Remember that the tape measure should not be pulled too tight around the body but not be too loose either.
Avoid bulky clothes For the most accurate result, you should be measured wearing only your undergarments or close-fitting clothing, for example, a base layer. It's not a good idea to measure yourself wearing jeans, sweaters or other bulky clothing.
HOW to MEASURE ARM LENGTH: Bend the elbow slightly, then measure from the centre back of the neck, over the shoulder to the elbow, and down to the wrist.
BUST: Measure straight under your arms around your body at the fullest part of your bust.
WAIST: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part.
SEAT: Standing with your feet hip-width apart, measure around your hips at the widest part.
