Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Fjallraven Women's Singi Down JacketI am looking for a really warm winter jacket. I usually wear my son's old Canadian Goose jacket during the cold winter months (he was my size a few years ago...) but I figured it was about time I got my own jacket, and I like Fjallraven's women's jackets. Their style and cut seem very current and the materials seem better quality than most. I ordered this Fjallraven jacket and another one to compare (the Fjallraven Expedition Down Lite women's jacket). Usually, I am an XS but can wear S as well and not look swallowed up. I am 5'2" and 120lbs, slim. I can usually wear anything in XS or S and look good. I never wear M's. Well, I ordered S for both jackets, thinking that would be a good size for me for an outer-coat. However, the Fjallraven Women's Singi Down Jacket size S had overly long sleeves and was tight around the shoulders. I mean, it fit but I could see that the jacket at the shoulders looked tight & too small for me. I am not going to reorder this Singi jacket because even though I am sure it's warm, the jacket is very stiff, the collar is not relaxed but stands straight up, and the proportions for this jacket are all wrong. If I were to order a size M, which I am sure would fit me at the shoulders & not make me look like I'm wearing a hand-me-down that's too small, the sleeves would however be too long plus the jacket would be too stiff & overall feel too uncomfortable as well as not fitting properly. The Singi Down Jacket is very disproportionate in size. I am returning this jacket and not even going to bother to size up.

Warm and magicalExtremely warm and magical coat. Tons of pockets. Seems pretty durable - should be for the fairly steep price tag. Perfect for MIchigan winter.

Sweet Winter CoatThis coat extremely warm with nice styling. I originally bought a medium for my wife, but it was a little snug especially over sweaters, but the quick exchange process for a large went very smoothly at Moosejaw

Keeps me warm in 30 degree walksI bought this a few weeks ago and have already had a chance to wear it walking my dog in 20-40 degree weather with wind and/or snow. I put it on after work one day with my work polo (short sleeves), jeans and safety toe boots to walk my dog; weather app said it felt like 23F but I was not cold! I wasn’t hot in this set up, but I was comfortable. I don’t love the price of this jacket, but it is lighter weight than the synthetic down jacket, making it more comfortable to wear. The breast pockets are great for holding my phone. I have chosen to wear a lighter weight puffy jacket to go to/from work and errands instead of this jacket so far this season but expect that to change as we move more into winter and below freezing temps. The cinching at the waist (adjustable) helps give me a figure/shape while wearing a winter coat.

Amazing coat! The coat fits to size for the most part. Ended up sizing up to give a little extra room for base layers. Excited to try this out in the Chicgao cold. Already been testing it out around the house and super warm.
Would "water-resistant" be enough for winter weather in New York?
Asked by: ashley
Hiya Ashley, thanks for your question! Water resistant usually means that a garment has a DWR (durable water repellent) exterior finish that repels moisture and stays dry in light snow or rain. A DWR finish should be adequate for normal winter weather in New York, but not necessarily for a heavy winter storm. For extra protection, you can treat it with Greenland Wax. Hope this helps!

Hi! I've got another question, this time about color. How would you describe Red Oak vs. Deep Garnet? I like pink but am not a fan of red, which one is closer to pink? Thanks!
Asked by: Annie
Hey Annie,
Thanks for the question! The Dark Garnet is more of a Burgundy color, so it's not a bright red. To my eyes it's almost more of a deep purple with red undertones, however I don't really see any pink in it. I would say the Red Oak is more of a wine color and is more outwardly red looking compared to Dark Garnet. If you don't like red the Dark Garnet is the better option, however if you're really set on a pink toned jacket neither of these would unfortunately work that well for you. I hope this helps!

Hi, would L or XL fit better for these measurements? Bust 38" bust, 46 to 47" hips. The wearer prefers a looser fit with enough room to layer underneath. Thanks!
Asked by: Celina
Hey Celina, thanks for the question! Based on these measurements and preferences, I would suggest going with the XL. I hope this helps!

Hi there! Sizing is always tricky for me but I'm planning on wearing this jacket with only a base layer and I prefer my jacket to be more form-fitting. With that in mind, if my measurements are 37-30-42, should I go with a Medium or a Small?
Asked by: Annie
Hey Annie, great question! Based on these measurements, the medium should be perfect and give you just the right amount of room for that base layer while not appearing big and super bulky. I hope this helps!

I ordered the red one but am not a fan of the purple inside lining color. Do all of the coats have a purple lining?
Asked by: Mlerg
Hi Mlerg, thanks for the question! So sorry for your disappointment in the color of that lining. The lining is dictated by the shell color and is generally a slightly lighter shade than the shell; the black has a gray lining, dark navy has a lighter blue lining, etc. I hope this helps!

Can you tell me what the fill power of the down is in this coat? Also, what are the main differences between the Singi Down Jacket and the Kyla Parka? Thanks!
Asked by: Elizabeth
Hiya Elizabeth, thanks for your question! Both jackets have 500 down fill. The main differences are in the length and fit. The Singi Jacket is hip length while the Kyla Parka is thigh length. The Kyla has a regular fit and the Singi has a relaxed fit to layer underneath. Hope this helps!

What exactly is ethically sourced down? Also, how waterproof is this jacket compared to the Nuuk, for example?
Asked by: ColdInTexas
Hey there, thanks for the question! Fjallraven's Down Promise is one of the best in the outdoor industry and ensures that the highest animal welfare standards are maintained. Absolutely no live plucking takes place. The waterproofing on both the Nuuk and Singi is completely customizable using Greenland wax, simply apply where it is needed most! I hope this helps!
