Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit? Doesn’t fit. The style of these pants are so cool.. which is why the fit is so disappointing. If you have ever done a squat in your life, these won’t fit. They are made for people with no quads, glutes or glutes - so much so that the waist on me is almost too big, yet the upper legs are so tight the front pockets are unuseable. I’m afraid to squat down in them for fear of tearing the fabric. I’m not fat or some muscle head either. I have run Ultramarathons in recent memory and these still are ridiculously shaped. It’s bizarre for their cost and I am baffled by their target audience for these.

I technically have a 30" inseam, but I typically buy 32" lengths in most trousers. I'm probably right in between a regular and a short length in these pants. Either would probably work. I ended up going with the regular length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from These are longer than normal Fjallraven longs. I am 6'0" and about 180. I normally get the Long in the Sormland Trousers and they fit perfectly. These are a bit too long but keeping them because of the price, When an ankle boot is added , these crunch up at the cuff. Try the regular if you are in between sizes like I normally am.

I'm 32 waist 34 inseam... which size would be best for me?

Just got my vidda pro after living in my barents pro for a year. G1000 is amazing, so tough but after a few treks and washes, so soft and comfy. Question is about the little brass hook on the bottom of the vidda pros-Anybody know what purpose it serves?

Hey Sparekey, thanks for the question! That hook is meant to act as a sort of, built-in gaiter, or at the very least keep your pant leg down to avoid any unwanted debris. I hope this helps!

I see that the difference between the Regular and Long inseam is 2". Since these have articulated knees, are the thighs longer on the Long version, or is that 2" just added to the bottom? Thanks!

I got an answer back from Fjallraven: "Thanks for reaching out. On the long version of the Vidda Pro's, the Knee pads are going to be 1.5 cm lower than on the regular trousers. So the additional length isn't all just added to the bottom, it'll be 1.5 cm before the knee pad and 3.5 added to the bottom."

I know Gabriel posted this question a while back, but I wanted to provide a suggestion to those with the same dilemma and would like a pair of Fjallraven trousers. Look into the Barents pro trousers which have unfinished length for custom hemming. The raw length is quite long which should accommodate this situation. It's less expensive due to the lack of boot hooks and adjustability in the cuff diameter. To clarify, I am neither affiliated with Fjallraven nor Mosejaw- just a believer in the durability and functionality of these trousers. I hope this helps some of you...cheers!

I am in between a 36 or 38 (usually larger for me) depending on cut and manufacture.  Which size would you recommend for Vidda pro, 52eu or 54eu?  Thanks

Hey, thanks for the question! Since the size 54 will fit up to a Men's waist size 38.5", and these Trousers run a tad on the small side, my suggestion is to start with the 54. If you are still on the fence, I always advise customers to order both sizes so they can try on at home to compare. So I’m a little bit of a bigger guy, but I like hiking pants that are not too big on me and more of Tight/ just right kind of fit, I’m 6’1 and have a 38 waist size at most what would be good?

HOW to MEASURE
WAIST: Measure around the natural part of the waist, often the narrowest part of the waist just above the belly button.

SEAT: Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest point of the hips and seat.
