Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Warm like a FloridaI got this coat after a week of walking the dog in sub-zero temperatures. My previous coat was a great down Patagonia but once it ripped i decided to go full parka which I haven't done since living in Montreal. This has been great, and I can minimize my layers. It is a bit unwieldy at a restaurant etc but I dont really need it for going out to dinner do i.

singi down jacketI got a large fits good. Is a little long but that is exactly what i wanted. The hood snorkels, this was a must for me. Velcro on the sleeves, I am not a fan of velcro, but theres plenty of room for my gloves, or mittens to go up. inside the sleeves.

Chicago is no longer cold in winter.Truly wonderful feeling to put on this comfortable parka. I don’t want to sound like a zealot, but it is a pleasure to wear this. My wife said s tired of me mentioning it. And Moosejaw was excellent to work with. Very, very prompt.

Warmest coat!I bought this coat for my son to bring to college. We live in Wisconsin and our winters get very cold. So far this coat has exceeded our expectations!! Great quality!! I can't wait to purchase one for myself.

Favorite winter jacket! (I have three)The Singi is very functional and warm. The G-1000 material is very durable so you won't have to worry about branches snagging it on trails or even a spark landing on it around a fire. There are two pockets behind the breast pockets that zip from the side that are perfect for a cell phone and pocket on the inside left that will one hold one as well. Two large mesh-like pockets located on the inside of the jacket behind the outside ones and a left shoulder pocket as well. The waist, hood and cuffs are adjustable. I am 5'9" with 30" waist and I went with size small and still have plenty of room for layers underneath. I was swimming in the size Medium. The sleeve length is perfect for me. The tassels for adjusting the waist and hood and on the zippers are leather and the faux fur is nice. There are two zippers on the front so you may open the bottom half up if you wanted while sitting or hiking. One thing I will point out though, but will not knock it for because I knew about it before I bought it, is that it zips on the opposite side like a ladies coat. Just something to be aware of if you're one get all bothered about that. Just takes a bit of getting used to. Remember that these jackets run quite large so get a size smaller than usual. Seriously. Excellent jacket in my book! People will ask you about/compliment this handsome jacket. You will stay nice and warm walking to class in the winter.

Great ParkaThis is a great parka and I would definitely buy it again if I could go back in time. It looks sharp, is extremely warm, comfortable to wear and well made. I love the texture of the outer fabric - more like canvas than the smooth nylon most coats use (still, I with the outer fabric had more cotton and less polyester, but oh well).
I knocked a star off for two minor issues that I think are worth mentioning: 1) the hand warmer pockets are the lower "flap" pockets on the outside of the coat. This makes them a bit awkward to access and not as warm as they could be (they are lined with thin fleece only). 2) The hood tends to fall forward over your head when bending over. Not a big deal, but I'd rather it stay in place when I don't want it up.
For fitting advice, I'm 6'1, 180 lb, with an athletic/"swimmers" build (42" suit jacket, 31 or 32" pants). The medium fits me beautifully.
In the picture of the Sand model it doesn't look like there are zippers on the top front pockets, while there are on the Black model. Are the zippers just well hidden or is there a difference between the colors?

The Singi jacket is a relaxed fit and the Yupik is a regular fit. I want the warmer of the two but I also like a fairly tight fit. I'm 6'3" ,185 LB /athletic build. I tried on Yupik in Med and liked it. Will Singi be looser fitting? which would be best?

Hey there,
Thanks for the question. Since Fjallraven doesn't temperature rate their products I can't say for certain that one jacket is warmer than the other, however looking at the specs I would have to give the edge to the Singi, which has a higher fill weight and heavier duty material (it uses Fjallraven's G-1000). You can't really go wrong with either but you'd most likely be slightly warmer as well as better protected from the elements wearing the Singi.
FJALLRAVEN FIT NOTES All you need is a tape measure! Ask a friend to take your measurements while standing in a straight and relaxed position without shoes. Remember that the tape measure should not be pulled too tight around the body but not be too loose either.
Avoid bulky clothes For the most accurate result, you should be measured wearing only your undergarments or close-fitting clothing, for example, a base layer. It's not a good idea to measure yourself wearing jeans, sweaters or other bulky clothing.
HOW to MEASURE ARM LENGTH: Bend the elbow slightly, then measure from the centre back of the neck, over the shoulder to the elbow, and down to the wrist.
CHEST: Measure straight under your arms around your body at the fullest part of your chest.
WAIST: Measure around your waist at the narrowest part.
SEAT: Standing with your feet hip-width apart, measure around your hips at the widest part.
