Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Hubby says the bestHubby says they are the best pants he’s ever owned. Light, comfortable and yet tough. Excellent fit for tall men, my husband is 6’3” so the raw edges was perfect.

Perfect gift!I’ve purchased a few pairs of these each year for my husband. He loves these. He wears them to work and during his trail walks. We’ve made it a tradition that he gets a few pairs of these each Christmas.

Too ShortItem description states they have raw length leg endings but these are definitely hemmed and not a 40" inseam like stated. Otherwise they seem like nice pants!

Well builtBeen seeing these on YouTube for sometime now. They were always to expensive for me.
Moosejaw had them at a price I could afford.
Didn’t have the exact size I needed but for the price I bought them. Bought a 56 long and had them shortened. Very happy with Moosejaw and have since bought some gloves I’ve been looking at.

Favorite outdoor pantAlthough I have only had these pants for a month or so that have already become my favorite outdoor pants. I have worn them a couple of times cross country skiing and they really are exceptional. All the great reviews you have read about these pants are true.

Too low waisted for my husbandMy husband is a trim athletic older gentlemen who wears a lot of Fjallraven. I had a pair of Fjallraven pants I loved for hiking so got him these but they fit him kind of oddly, seemed a bit low cut in the waist. We got the Vidda Pro Ventilated to try against these and since he will be wearing them for cold weather (relatively) hiking and he preferred the fit, he went with the Vidda.

Everything I expect from a Fjallraven product. This my third pair of Fjallraven pants. Very satisfied with durability and lightweight toughness. Sheds light rain but not waterproof. Used for pheasant hunting.
Is there any reason not to order a long size if the regular is out, seeing as these have a "raw" cut? Is the long cut any differently (like height of crotch or knees), or does the fabric just go a couple more centimeters down to give you more to hem?
Asked by: GareBear
Hiya GareBear, thanks for your question! The knees are pre-shaped so a long length pant wouldn't fit correctly on a regular height person. Sorry about that!

I'm 32/33 waist, 34 inseam... what size should I get?
Asked by: David
Hey David, thanks for the question! With these measurements, you should be right between the 46 and 48 EU Long. I hope this helps!

I’m a 34” waist with a 30” inseam. What size would you recommend?
Asked by: Paul W
Hey Paul,
Thanks for the question. Looking at your measurements you would be either a size 48 or a 50, most likely a 50. However, the inseam on these pants would most likely be too long for you. Please note that these pants come in a raw-length, meaning that they can be hemmed shorter, however you would most likely need to hem these 7 or more inches to fit your inseam which could compromise the integrity of the pant. If you didn't want to take a chance on that, you may want to check out Prana brand pants which make a variety of styles in the 34x30 sizing.

Hello,
What does the EU long pant type mean?
Asked by: Kingfisher
Thanks for the question! "EU" stands for European sizing. "Long" is referring to the inseam. In this case, I would refer to the size guide below for exact measurements based on the waist size you need. I hope this info helps a little!

How well would these endure frequent brushes with thorns, burrs, and other abrasive undergrowth?
Asked by: Be Nimble
Thanks for the question! The Barents Pro Trousers were designed specifically for trekking in the forest. With the extremely durable G-1000 material, you should not expect to even notice any signs of abrasion - even in those prickly situations you are describing. I have a customer who wore them for 8-12 days while trekking in canyons & thick brush and his pants showed almost no wear. I hope this gives you a better idea of the durability!

My waist is 30-31 and inseam is 30-32, what size should I get these Fjallraven pants?
Asked by: Moe3
Hey there Moe3, thanks for the question! Based on these measurements, the 44 Regular would be the perfect size for you. You could technically get a long hemmed shorter since these are raw length, but the extra knee padding material may fall in the incorrect place for your knee. I hope this helps!

What's the difference between the barents pro and vidda pro?
Asked by: Northern Cowboy
There are two main differences between the Barents Pro and the Vidda Pro. First, the Barents Pro sits low on the waist, while the Vidda pro sits mid-waist. The second difference is the Vidda have an elastic adjustment at the bottom of the legs so that you can adjust them, whereas the Barents do not. Other than that, they are very similar in style, quality, and materials used.

What is the difference between Keb Gaiter trousers and Barents Pro?
Asked by: imoose
Hey there imoose,
Great question! There are several differences between the two. First, the Keb Gaiter Trousers have a zip off function that allows the lower legs to be used as gaiters (they also have lace hooks and bungee fasteners on the upper calf). The Barents are made with the same G-1000 fabric as the Keb, but do not have the gaiter function/accessories. Both are regular fit, and tapered at the hem. Hope this helps!
NOTES * RAW INSEAM: If it says in the Product Description that the pants have a Raw Inseam, it means those particular pants do not automatically come hemmed, and that the full inseam length can be found in the info above. Pants with a Raw Inseam Length are great because you can have them hemmed to fit you perfectly, but that is your responsibility to have done.
* FIXED INSEAM: If the Product Description says that these pants have a Fixed Inseam, or does NOT clearly state it has a Raw Inseam, it means that these pants already come hemmed.
HOW to MEASURE WAIST: Measure around the natural part of the waist, often the narrowest part of the waist just above the belly button.
SEAT: Stand with feet together and measure around the fullest point of the hips and seat.
INSEAM: Measure from the crotch to where your pant leg typically falls, often near the ankle bone. Please note that Fjallraven Raw Inseam pants do NOT come hemmed so will have a longer inseam.
