Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Approach Shoe Made Too bad Adidas has replaced these. They are by far the best approach and scrambling shoe I've ever worn. I have flat feet on the wider side and these are really the only approach shoes that fit. My old pair lasted 5 years before they finally de-laminated, and I was lucky enough to find a replacement pair in my size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe for MTB! I wanted a good shoe for riding flat pedals on my MTB, and while 5.10 is known for all their other shoes, this one intrigued me because it wasn't tailored specifically for MTB. it looks better and has a stiff enough sole for riding, but is comfy to wear all day doing whatever. great alternative to the Freeriders or Impacts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Almost no arch support I purchased these a couple weeks ago and have put maybe ten miles on them in general mixed use. Thanksgiving day came and I invited the family out for a two mile jaunt through the woods on a dirt trail reached by a 1/4 mile paved road. (Little exercise before turkey and desert) As we were getting back to the house I noticed my knees and feet were not happy. I attribute this to the shoes having perhaps what would rank among the cheapest insert ever for any shoe. Virtually no decent padding or arch support. I'm either going to return these or I'll have to pay 40 bucks for a pair of Super Feet inserts. The rest of the shoe looks nice and the upper appears to be well built. Very lightweight shoe. Definitely comfortable uppers but that's only half the battle. These shoes are said by the manufacturer to be a approach shoe / hiking shoe. To me that's joke. I'd never wear these approaching something like Cathedral ledge or going on a hike. I would not recommend these.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fast and light This is my third or fourth pair. They are very light weight and breathe well. Good rubber. I think they are expensive for what they are and where they are made (China) but worth it if you can find a deal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoe, wear patterns hit about a year out. Awesome shoe, great grip, high comfort, all around a superior shoe. I did wear my last pair out in less than a year--most notably the front lip separated, and the side seams started to split. To note; I hike about 4-5 miles with steep elevation every weekend. I was so impressed with the comfort and grip on hiking trips, that I bought another pair regardless of the deterioration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Aproach Shoe This shoe is comfortable and quick to get into and out of (perfect for craggin). However it is also a good option for multipitch adventures since it has a generous loop to clip a carabiner through. Another huge benefit to this shoe is the fantastic 5.10 stealth rubber bottom. These shoes can climb extremely well for a shoe of their type. Another plus the blue color looks good enough to wear around town if you wanted too.
