Rated 5 out of 5 by from My arthritic hip thanks you! One of my hips is arthritic and the other one is metal. That means I need some padding for a good night's sleep. So far, I have spent 2 nights on this pad and slept great! No pain at all. I think it might be more comfortable than my bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! We bought this for our van to go camping. It's more comfortable than the bed in my house. Very easy to inflate with the simple hand pump. I highly recommend this over a traditional air mattress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from soooo comfy! I bought this specifically to go on a platform I built in the back of my car, but it also squeezes into my tent when car camping. seems like high quality material (hopefully I won't have to come back and edit this part...) and is more comfortable than my mattress at home! only downside is the price, but hoping to get my money's worth over the years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Megamat duo is the perfect pad for the SUV As an owner of 3 Megamat singles, I have some experience with the Megamats. We used them for camping and extra beds for company. My company is always amazed at how much better they sleep on the Megamat than at home on their own mattresses. Camping with Megamats have helped with some of our more reluctant campers. Often the biggest obstacle for getting someone to camp with us has been that they don't enjoy sleeping on the ground. Our Megamats have converted confirmed non-campers into avid outdoors people. Now, having purchase a new Subaru, I wanted to have the option of sleeping in the car, and so I tried my Megamat. Not going to happen. It was too long at 77". So, I looked to the shorter version and found it too narrow. Upon some investigation, I found that the Megamat Duo medium was just right. I felt like Goldilocks. The Megamat Duo medium is the perfect length and width. The nice part is that I can place the uninflated mat the back of my call already spread out and then pump it up right in place. No having to get on my knees to inflate it and no lifting and struggling to put it in place, even though the mat is easy to inflate with Schnozzle pump, and easy to lift because it is very light. I now own 3 Megamat singles, on Megamat Duo Medium, 1 Winter lite down, 1 synmat UL and 1 Synmat UL winter. I am very happy with these mats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This thing is comfy I just slept on this for the first time last night and it’s just like my bed at home if not more comfortable. It was purchased for my van build and designed my bed around its dimensions. This thing is perfect for my needs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best night of sleep. I bought this sleeping mat last month and have used it twice (four nights each trip). We got the best nights sleep camping ever! It totally fits myself along with my husband and our 70 pound beautiful pitbull so comfortably. A bit hard to roll up the first few times but is a breeze once it got a bit worked in. Wish we had this years ago!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not yet popped by cat claws My husband and I live in a tent most of the year, so we wanted a mattress that was durable, portable, and wouldn't get moldy when it rains. Also I can't stand that crinkly noise most camping pads make. This is silent, firm and big enough for two smallish people. It's almost as comfortable as our other mattress, which is one of those cheap foam queens from the internet. We were nervous about using it because we have a cat, but so far so good.

What kind of warranty does this product come with? And does it come with a patch kit included (I watched a review that said something about a patch kit).

Asked by: Sioux4Ever
Hiya Sioux4Ever, thanks for your question! This pad has a 5 year warranty. In fact, all Exped products have a 5 year warranty except for UL or HL listed items, which have a 2 year warranty. The repair kit is included!

Is this an air mattress? Or, What kind of foam? Self-inflating, or requiring a pump?

Asked by: GWied
Hiya GWied, thanks for your question! Actually, it is both foam and air filled. This sleeping pad is made with high quality open cell foam. The open cells fill with air to create a firm and comfortable surface. It self inflates halfway and then air filled manually with the included mini pump. Hope this helps!

Do you have a recommendation for accompanying duel sleeping bag or comforter?

Asked by: Steelhead
Hey there, Two options you may want to consider are the Sierra Designs Backcountry Bed Due 600 (https://sierradesigns.com/backcountry-bed-duo-600-2-season/) and the Nemo Tango Duo Slim Down Comforter (http://www.nemoequipment.com/product/?p=Tango+Duo+Slim). You might also like the Sierra Designs Frontcountry Bed Queen (https://sierradesigns.com/frontcountry-bed-queen-syn-30-degree). I hope this helps.

I just recently bought the Sierra Designs Nightwatch 2P. Would a WL fit in it?

Asked by: Teknokid
Hey there Teknokid, good question! Unfortunately, I don't think the WL will fit inside your Sierra Designs Nightwatch 2P. The WL is 77.6" x 52', and the rear of that tent is only 46". Sorry, but I hope this helps!

On a exler website this mattres named "MEGAMAT DUO 10 LW+". Is it same version here?

Asked by: Alex
Hey, Alex! LW+ stands for Long Wide. We offer the Medium (M) and the Long Wide (LW+) You probably saw on Exped's site: Megamat Duo 10 M and Megamat Duo 10 LW+, so as long as you choose Long Wide as a size selection, you would receive the Megamat Duo 10 LW+. Hope that helps!

Is the mini pump electric or manual? If it is electric, is it battery operated or do I have to plug into car?

Asked by: Rob1
Hey, Rob1! Excellent question - the mini pump is actually manual. It is used primarily to kind of "top off" the inflation after the mat has been allowed to self inflate. You unroll the mat, open the inflation valve, and then allow the mat to sit from 10 to 20 minutes (no pumping required). After you give the mat time to self inflate (the memory foam draws in air), you then just use the mini pump to get the mat to the firmness you desire.
