Rewards Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Best Fit, Soft Interior, Warm and Flexible! This is my second Ignitelite Stretch jacket, the first I bought without the hood. I am amazed how much warmer the hooded version feels, plus the hood fits well and doesn't blow off in the wind. I have not had to deal with any static in the winter either. Prior to buying this jacket the first time I visited a store and tried on every jacket they had. The Ignitelite Stretch feels like a regular jacket, not too puffy. To me it is a more traditional jacket without the bulk.

Good outer layer in dry coldThe fit is decent, but more outer layer ish..not particularly active fit. Which isn't necessarily bad.. I'm a medium in most standard fitting items and a medium in this fit well.. not baggy, not trim. I'm 5.11, 175, standard build. I really like the matte finish and the zippers and hood seemed of good quality... The cuffs are a nice elastic close though maybe a little roomier than others I've had..again a pro or con depending on your preference..a little looser is great for ability to check your watch or get gloves under, for example.
The reversibility is a unique idea and I think if the reverse side is really bright it makes more sense (visibility on the mountain etc)..compared to the black/grey I tried. For me I'd miss the chest pocket of the main side, as well as the versatility of an added drop in pocket or two inside that many jackets like this have. So really it completely depends on your use. Personally I won't buy a jacket ever again that doesn't have a functional chest pocket or two..that's how much I love and use them.. but I know for others they could care less. There's a chance some of those wisps of insulation strands might start 'shedding' through the stitching of the main side..almost like your jacket has 5 o clock shadow. Mine was brand new with tags and there was the ever so beginning hint of that. It's not the end of the world and pretty common really, but I mention it as some hate it. The reverse side has less going on so maybe less shedding as well? Unknown. Just seems like the less stitching or baffling a jacket has, the less that happens. Makes sense.
Bottom line..if you can get this on sale and are in the market for this type of mid warmth, slightly stretchy piece (not really sure stretch should be part of the name of this kit) I think you'll be pleased. I didn't test the DWR but I would assume it's be as good as any such jacket for a while. Really a layer like this is all you need in a dry cold climate, and in my case I found my size had plenty of room for underlayers if needed as the temp drops more toward 0 and the negatives. Comparisons..think of this as the poor man's Arc'teryx Atom SV..something like that.

Great JacketThis is a nice medium weight jacket. It seems fairly wind proof, so it’s very warm when layered over other tops. Nice sleeve length (I have long ish arms). The hood fits well. Keeps me plenty warm when walking the dogs in cold weather.

Super warmFit was good. XL. I'm 6'1" 195 lbs. Sleeve length, body length, and chest were all good. Hip was a little big for me but cinches. Zippers are great. Reversible is great though would have really preferred orange over the yellow with the storm. Cuffs are loose even though they are stretchy which lets the cold in; they should have snugged these up or gone with a manual closure. I would have gotten a LgTall but I wanted room for a fleece or other layer. The jacket is warm. I usually can't keep it totally closed. It also moves well with you. I'm not sure how tough the fabric is. I haven't had any problems with it, but it seems like it would tear easily. I don't believe this jacket is packable. Would have been nice but it's not in the description so I can't hold that against them. The cuff and the hip size got 'em a 4 stars vs 5.

Very Versatile!Very adaptable and warm. Nice stretch. No brainer for a synthetic layer. Stylish and functional with very strategic pockets. Pair with a shell for extreme weather

Pleasantly surprised!I purchased this as a winter jacket for WI and to use on some hiking adventures in the Rockies. Pleased with the quality and appearance. Will definitely get some serious testing on the trail and curious to see how it holds up.

comfortableI'm 6'1", 190-200 lbs, I usually order XL coats/jackets but ordered a large with the hope that the tighter fit would allow the jacket (it's not a coat) to be used as a mid layer. Plan worked out and I have used the jacket over a couple of light layers down to 0F on its own and it was not enough unless moving/active. As a mid layer it works great (under a rain jacket or larger winter coat).
It doesn't have a lot of stretch, not particularly warm or waterproof. The hood fits well and is small enough to not fall in your face like some do. It's light weight, relatively quiet and comfortable. Love the olive/green color. The ability to reverse the jacket if/when I stain it is a nice bonus. I would not find it worth the full MSRP but for the sale price I'm very happy with it and plan on getting a lot of use out of it.

Great fit and featuresI live in California and I bought this jacket for a winter vacation in Europe. The vacation got canceled but I liked it so much how it looks and feels that I kept it and didn’t return it. Super comfortable and warm. Perfect fit
Hey Les12345, thanks for the question! Let me go weight this jacket and I will get back to you with that answer as soon as possible. Until then, sit tight and love the madness!

is there any way to pack this ? it doesn't say the the description but how does it compress-down could you stuff it into a pocket?
Asked by: ColdWinter
Hey there, thanks for your question.
The Eddie Bauer First Ascent Men's Ignitelite Stretch Reversible Hoodie doesn't have a stow pocket, with a reversible zipper, but it does pack down pretty well. Not enough to zip into a pocket, but it can tuck into its own hood or a small stuff sack pretty effectively.
I hope this helps
