Rewards Program Terms and Conditions

Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Lite weight and warmI bought this jacket because it's not one of those thick heavy coats that bundle you up. The jacket is so thin and light you would never think it would keep you warm in the cold weather. This is one of the warmest jackets I ever owned. Absolutely Amazing. Recommend for anyone not wanted to feel like a overstuffed bear, but warm, light weight and stylish.

Greatest jacket I’ve ever hadI’ve taken this out in sub 15F weather with wind and it’s truly amazing. They ain’t lying about wind proof. You still probably wanna get a dedicated rain shell but as it stands this is a stellar jacket that will keep you warm and is incredibly light and packable. A bonus, the zippers feel very strong and I didn’t even know that was a thing. Very pleased that I got this on sale too!

Nice and comfortable...but not that warm.The jacket is comfortable and hood fits properly. However, I have worn this in single digit weather and it is not cozy at those temperatures.

Every bit as warm and light as advertised.Bought this jacket for Wisconsin winters. Don’t like bulky coats and this is as thin and light as can be. It’s also warm enough for any cold day we have. Perfect for over sweatshirts or even just a t-shirt.

I love this jacket!!!I complained about the fact that this jacket came later than expected, but now that I have had it for a month, I can't say enough about it for versatility, warmth, the way the hood fits, everything. I really love this jacket. We have had a very cold winter, and with the liner in, it's nice and warm.

Never Cold in the EverthermI could not recommend another jacket for a down layer, this jacket has kept me warm through cold nights and blistering mountaineering adventures. Even in negative temperatures, this jacket over a t shirt is all you need... and maybe gloves. But seriously, this jacket is so good at insulating that during rigorous winter activity I often find that it is a little too good, mountain/ ice climbing and backcountry skiing are examples of when you might just keep this bad boy in your pack for some down time warmth (since you will get warm while exerting energy in it). That may sound like a downside, but quite the contrary, this jacket is an essential part of my gear and I often bring my old one along as an emergency layer in case anyone on my team or myself become immobilized due to injury or illness on the climb. The only, and I mean ONLY, thing I would change about this jacket is its durability, it has a sense of fragility to it that makes me worried to wear it around a fire where a falling ember could melt the nylon shell, or through thick bush where a thorn could snag the light material. These problems are easily solved by throwing a light flannel or a carhart over top but the fact that this jacket needs protection is something to mention. But again, this jacket surpasses all other down layers on the market. Thank you Eddie Bauer for an outstanding product.

Light AND WarmExactly what I was looking for. A winter jacket that is lightweight, zero excess bulk, but all the warmth. If I need the hood, this going to keep all the wind out as an extra bonus
How packable/compressible is this jacket relative to a more typical down filled (baffled/quilted) coat?

Hey there oldMG, good question! I had one of our fine folks back in the warehouse pack this jacket down to see how small we could get it, apparently it will pack down as far as 7.5" x 5" x 5". That is more packable then your typical, baffled or quilted down jacket. I hope this helps!

Cleaning/Washing? Does the fill stay in place, with no seaming to keep it so? And what are the washing instructions?

Hey jennifer, good question! The wash/care instructions for this jacket are as follows...Secure all garment closures before laundering. Turn garment inside out. Machine wash cold delicate, separately, using mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly. Do not bleach or use fabric softeners. Tumble dry low. Do not iron or steam. Do not dry clean. To ensure the Down is properly dispersed and keeps its loft, I would add a few clean tennis balls to the tumble process. I hope this helps!
