Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Can’t camp without itThis has been a game changer. We can go out on long camping trips now and don’t have to worry about ice or things getting all soggy from ice melt. you can actually bring ice cream with you and has been really nice. I can just plug in the back of the 4runner. would definitely recommend it

Fantastic!We bought this a couple weeks ago and have taken it out for a couple weekend camping trips. SUPERB quality, and the cooler maintained set temps, as expected and hoped for, in a very hot southwest climate.
We love the removable baskets that allow for easily separating drinks from produce from raw meat, etc.
With ample storage space, the cooler can accomodate a variety of items, including large ones. For example, a store bought gallon of water can easily fit in the deeper side of the cooler, with the deep basket separator in place. Which means you could store multiple gallons of water on that one side of the cooler alone if needed/desired.
We also chose Tupperware containers that fit the widths of the baskets to further maximize food storage within the cooler.
Another plus, the lid of the cooler clicks upon close and seems to have a great and reliable seal to keep cold air in. Sustained temps on the digital screen confirmed that.
We are looking forward to putting this Dometic cooler to use over multiple trips this summer. It certainly beats having to purchase several bags of ice for a less expensive cooler, especially when that ice melts and drenches the cooler's contents. Additionally, we can go for longer trips now without having to worry about the temp of our food.
Hands down, a fantastic purchase with fantastic features. We would buy it again.

The Beast is not what we expected?!We gave this cooler(we call it “The Beast”)one star so that everyone would look at this review who is seriously considering buying one of these, does so immediately!!! We have all read good reviews and wondered “how can it be that good?” Well The Beast is better than good, it’s GREAT!!!
We live on a boat. We were told by another couple that lives on their boat as well that this “cooler” is really good for when they run out of room in the main fridge and freezer on their boat. Well, we don’t have a fridge, or freezer for that matter on our boat. Up until now we have been using coolers and ice. LOTS OF ICE! Drain the water….add more ice, drain the water…add more ice, drain the water…well you get the picture and how much $$$ we spent on ice. Not anymore!
Since we plugged this gem in our ice buying days are over. Now we can even make ice for those occasional chilled adult beverages we like to enjoy while watching the sun go down. We can set the temp to whatever we like and it holds true to that temperature. We can set either side to freezer, or either side to fridge, or both sides freezer, or both sides to fridge. What ever floats your boat(no pun intended)ok, maybe there was? Anyway, what we are really trying to say here is that we haven’t been able to have ice cream on the boat, ever, for more than the time it takes to eat it, and now we have ice cream for days. Did I mention that we live in the tropics?
The construction The Beast is very strong. It’s like a Yeti on steroids, minus the ice of course! The handles are beefy. The lids have a solid, positive click closure so you know that you closed it every time. The walls are thick and well insulated. There are LED lights on both ends on the inside that come on when you open the lids. We didn’t realize how nice it is to have lights in a cooler until we do. The removable wire baskets and dividers are nice feature to keep things organized are especially good for cleaning. Just pull the baskets out, food and all, wipe down the inside, put the baskets back in. There does seem to be a little water that accumulates on the fridge side, probably from opening and closing the lid and the high humidity. The initial set-up is super easy and the display is easy to see at a glance to make sure that it’s working. The USB charging port is right there next to the temp display. We haven’t used it as the boat already has charging ports all over the place. I suppose one more never hurts! The vents are at one end and need to be clear of any obstructions. That’s not a problem where it lives on our boat. The power cord plugs in to the end where the vents are located which is the smaller compartment side of the fridge. That’s the side we use as the freezer. It’s nice that the lids are reversible and can be hinged on the other side. We did not need to change them but if the vents were obstructed by something it is nice to know we can. We haven’t noticed any loud or excessively noisy motor running like we read in some of the reviews. As a matter of fact it’s as quiet as a mouse, or even a moose for that matter, since we have never actually heard a moose(there aren’t any moose here where we live).
To power The Beast we have it running off of the shore power. Which means that it’s plugged into a heavy duty power strip that’s plugged into a heavy duty 50’ extension cord, that’s plugged into the 110V 50amp AC outlet on the dock. I’m sure somewhere in the user manual it says not to use extension cords, so don’t try this at home or on a boat. We have lots of other appliances plugged into the same power strip including a portable air conditioner. The Beast has never once tripped even the breaker on the power strip.
We have a little coffee maker that does though. I guess that’s some strong coffee we are making! So all we can take away from that is that the Beast must not draw very much power.
One thing we have not done is tried to use the 12V power cord. That would run solely off of the boat batteries that are only charged up when the Diesel engine is running. We do not have solar panels charging the batteries on the boat as of right now. When we cast off the dock lines and set sail for Tahiti we will update this review and let you know how that all works. That’s if we are still within range and have WIFI! We would guess that as long as there is a steady power source for The Beast, it will provide us with many pints of B&J ice cream for our movie nights.
One more thing I must add. I’m a fire fighter and Moosejaw recognizes first responders with a great discount. It’s usually just the military that gets recognized for their service to this country which is just and righteous.
Ok, two more things… the shipping was included. The Beast had to travel a long way to get to us. It’s not a small or light package by any means. And it was not on the slow boat either. We had it within a weeks time from when we ordered it.
Just a side note as well…Dometic makes a all in one toilet/holding tank that we bought for he boat a couple of years ago and it also was one of the best purchases we ever made for the boat. It uses fresh water and doesn’t stink up the boat. The holding tank could be a little bigger, but other than that it works like a charm. Dometic continues to make great products. We didn’t name the toilet….

Works perfectly!I bought this for my van conversion. We are a vegan couple, so we use ALOT of produce. I was worried this might be too small. It is perfect! Ice freezes faster than I expected on the freezer side as well. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
As far as Moosejaw is concerned, I had to order this product twice, as the first one arrived damaged. The replacement was shipped out less than 24 hours after they received the damaged product back and arrived 2 days after shipping. Customer service was extremely helpful.

Amazing product!I bought this for a camping trip to keep extra food in it because my popup fridge is tiny. I'm so glad I did because my fridge has been having odd issues. This cooler is easy to use and easy to find what I want in it. The only thing that could make it better is if it included a latch or lock that raccoons cannot open. When camping, I like to keep it outside under my awning, but I camp in some remote areas and have wildlife like raccoons frequenting the campground looking for some unsuspecting soul to leave their food unlocked. I managed to come up with an idea to run a coated wire through the handles and secure the lid enough to where an animal cannot get the lid high enough to get into it. If they get smart and figure out how to undo the turnbuckle, I'm in trouble.

Keep Cool and Carry OnWe have been camping with a Coleman Extreme cooler for a few years now and things have always been fine. Fine meaning, buying ice, ice melts, food gets wet, buy more ice. Obviously we all know that system works. I had the opportunity to purchase the CFX3 75DZ early this season and went for it. Total game changer. Ice cold drinks, dry packaging, basically the unit functions as advertised. Is it expensive, sure but, the freedom of bringing whatever you want to cook without worrying constantly about leakage, temp etc, priceless!
Also we even brought ice cream once so far, that was a crowd pleaser, let me tell you.
10/10 would recommend.
Now let me tell you about Moosejaw and their customer service:
When I first ordered the cooler, it came damaged and did not function. We were leaving for a trip out west in less than a week and were really pumped about having the new cooler. Moosejaw customer support stepped up 110% to get us a non damaged one in time for us to make our trip departure. The expedited everything through their system, FedExs system and we had the new one in a couple days. Overall they were fantastic!

Everything I needed in a fridgeI have a family of 4 and the Dometic 75 has all the features I needed in a fridge and its super quiet! If you beed a fridge for a weekend get away or for a extended trip, this is the one.

Can you use a generator to power the cooler?

The Dometic CFX3 75 Dual Zone Powered Cooler can be powered with both AC (110-240) or DC (12 volt / 24 volt) power sources. So most modern generators should be fine!
