Deuter Alpine Back System
Alpine back system packs combine comfort, durability, functionality, and low weight to offer unbeatable pack control. They feature two flexible softstripe back pads that are perfectly adapted to the anatomy and follow the wearer's movements, and provide comfortable ventilation along the back. A sleek shape also helps keep the pack load closer to the center of gravity of the hiker, for increased pack control and comfort while moving.

Deuter technical and backpacking packs are offered in One Size for each volume, and feature an adjustable torso range. Please check the PRODUCT FEATURES and / or SPECIFICATIONS for the torso range measurements of a pack, and follow the steps below to determine your torso size.
Deuter hipbelts are adjustable to accommodate most any wearer.
HOW to MEASURE TORSO SIZE
1. Put your chin to your chest and feel for the big bone protruding on your neck at the top of your spine. That's the C7 vertebra.
2. Feel your hip bone, the top part of this is your iliac crest. Find the spot on your back that is level with the top of this crest.
3. Have someone measure the distance between these two points, following the contours of your spine.
