Light weight
While light weight, I do worry about traveling w this bag and protecting my bindings. For car travel though, this bag couldn't be more efficient as I can roll it up when not in use.

Amazing bag for the price
Bought this for a ski road trip and I'm super satisfied with my purchase. The Slim Jim fits my 180cm skis with length to spare but the nifty little clip on the bag makes it so you can adjust the length almost perfectly. There's some extra room for my poles or other accessories but it is "Slim" so don't expect to fit multiple pairs of skis very well (though you could probably make it work with 2 pairs). Not a ton of padding but it definitely gets the job done.

Great ski bag!
This bag worked really well in my last ski trip. My 174 line sakanas were will protected by the bag's ribs. I fit plenty of jackets and clothes as well and wrapped the binding area up in a towel. The wheels were nice and smooth for moving the bag around.

The D Bag is the best bag.
I purchased this ski bag after many weeks of research and online shopping. It’s hands down the perfect bag for me at least. I own pair of skis (164 cm) and a pair of poles. This bag adjusts to the size of your skis AND fits your poles along side. The wheels and handles seem durable enough to with stand being dragged from the house to the airport and to the ski resort. And I love the name Slim Jim, as its one of my favorite snacks to eat on the ski lift.

Not suitable for checked luggage
After the first time checking my skis in the Slim Jim, the bag was returned with holes in the fabric near the base of the bag where the bottom corners of the skis are and near the area where the bindings are. The fabric is not reinforced at these key areas where it clearly should be. It will fail during the most basic of use. I tried to warranty the item through DB and they refused and blamed the airlines, claiming they are constantly updating the bags to reinforce them where necessary. Clearly that is not being done and they won't stand behind their products. I recommend avoiding their products.

Tough, lightweight, stores as small bundle
Bought this for my husband to take on trip to Colorado. I have one about a year old and he was jealous of mine. Very lightweight, rolls into small bundle when not in use. Holds one pair of skis and a bunch of clothes: underwear, base layers, insulator layers, anything soft. It does not have padding but skis have traveled safely with clothes stuffed around them. We use large heavy duty rubberbands or plastic ties to retract bindings and hold them in place since the bindings are the most likely to be damaged in ANY canvas type ski bag. Skis will fit without binding retraction. Our skis are 98 mm in the waist, pretty wide. Bag has sturdy wheels which make it very easy to pull around. He really loves this bag.

Will this accomodate 2 sets of skis?
