Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Love these boots! Needed aLove these boots! Needed a quality outdoor boot to work around a particular snakey area where we've seen rattlesnakes & along the water's edge where I have twice found water moccasins curled up in the rip-rap on the bank. I bought men's boots because my foot is wider & like to wear a thick sock. These have excellent support, great comfort, top quality leather & workmanship. My first Danners, but certainly won't be my last.

The Sharptail Snake Boots areThe Sharptail Snake Boots are very comfortable right out of the box. Break in is also easy.
They are lightweight which is important to me as I wear them almost daily at the farm. Quite a few copperheads and rattlesnakes here so taking chances without them is not smart. Overall a great boot for the price

ComfortableMost comfortable snake boots I have owned. Very easy to get on and off. Look good too. I enjoy the fact that they are not camo pattern and the sole is one piece so it is less likely to come off in chunks has I have had happen before

17" SharptailBought these boots and the sizing is all wrong. These boots run 1/2 to a full size smaller and they are narrow. Danner was contacted same day as delivery about the problem. They IMMEDIATELY fixed the problem and expedited my replacement order. They also have been the most well mannered and polite company I have bought from in quite some time. !00% top notch professionals. The boots are quite a bit more expensive than their competitors but I got what I expected in product quality, appearance and service for the money I paid. This wasn't my first pair of Danners and wont be the last.
Now for the boot... They run narrow and undersized. The look and design of the boots are spectacular. I loved the clean out-of-the-box look so much I hated to have to wear them out and get them dirty. I only could wish they were all leather without the fabric... and I would gladly pay for it if they ever decided to make it.
The boots were pretty stiff for me where the 900D is at. It was painful at first for me because as the boots creased while walking the upper 900D parts kept gouging me. However, once I identified the painful spots I used my hands to break in the hard spots and stop them from hurting me. Now after all is said and done they are pretty darn comfortable. I have put many miles on them in the mountains over rough and sometimes dangerous rocky terrain and they never gave me any issues at all other than the initial break in. Where I go... copper heads and eastern rattlesnakes are prominent, cell signal is not common, and help is far away... and I place my trust in protective footwear to Danner sharptails with no regrets!

the slip on 9.5w bootsthe slip on 9.5w boots were too tight~ Danner did not have the next size up so I returned them for the 10w laceup version and the size fit and style are perfect. the zipper makes it easy to get them off and on. I ride a motorcycle and wanted boots that would give me good protection and be comfortable to wear and walk in. these boots are perfect for that and better than a dedicated pair of motorcycle boots.

Very comfortable from the start.Very comfortable from the start. After wearing them a few times and after a little “break in” they are even better. They aren’t to hot which is a blessing in central Texas. I like the soles and the lining as well as the exterior. I have recently worn out a pair of snake boots from a different manufacturer. I changed to Danner for a couple of reasons and I am, thus far, exceptionally pleased.

The boots fit great andThe boots fit great and are more comfortable to walk in than my previous snake boots. The only issue I have so far is that they rubbed a blister on the outside ankle bone on my right ankle only. I am hoping they will break in and this won’t be an on going issue. Other than that they are great.👍

I used to go throughI used to go through 2-3 pairs of LaCrosse boots a year between deer season and turkey season but now these boots last 2-3 years per pair. I am a customer for life as long as they hold up to this level. This is my second pair and the only reason for a second set was the first finally leaked water after the 3rd season of use. Boots are still in very good shape but I walk a lot of creeks during turkey season and waterproofing is 100% necessary. Best boots I’ve ever owned and brag on these boots to anyone that asks. Great product, awesome quality, and great customer service.
Danner builds boots for their intended use. You'll find that our styles fit differently depending on how they should perform in the field.
Hiking -Right out of the box your hiking boots should feel somewhat snug on the sides of your feet (you aren't sliding side-to-side) with a little room at the toes (you don't want your toes to touch the tip of the boot just standing on flat ground).
-Make sure when you walk your heel doesn't slide up the back of the boot substantially.
-Make sure that you aren't feeling any pinching or pain while walking around your house. If you feel pinching at your big or little toe you probably need a wider boot or perhaps a larger size.
Work -Your work boots should match the anatomical make-up of your foot, widening slightly in the toe-box for a secure platform to stand on.
-Right out of the box you should feel comfort, cushion and support underfoot, for long days on your feet.
-You may feel that they're slightly stiff or snug right out of the box, but after a few weeks of break-in they should move easier at the flex points and conform to your foot, fitting like a glove.
