Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Zipper falls down. Not aZipper falls down. Not a fan of exiting my cruiser at a hot call to find out my boot zipper has decided to let go. I have a few pairs of danner boots used exclusively for hunting but the zipper issue has been a let down. Outside of that the fit, and quality is top notch. Extremely comfortable boot when the zipper stays up.

Fit-The fit is narrow, hadFit-The fit is narrow, had to return them for the wide size. Once replaced, fit was good! Replacement process took 2-3 weeks.
Zipper- Quality, didn’t have issues of unzipping that others have reviewed.
Feel-They are comfortable for 8, 12 & 16hr shifts. Boots are lightweight, stability for the ankle is good. They wear like a sneaker.
Quality-Tread pattern is shallow, time will tell on wear. 3-4 months into use 40-50+ hours a week and they’re good so far. Leather appears better than Bates so far.
Outcome-So far I give a 5-star. Full-time LEO for 10+ years, currently work for a busy urban environment, time will tell. I’ve always used Bates Ultralights for comparison. So far so good at 3-4 months into service. Quality of leather seems better. Doesn’t hold shine as well as Bates.

Very well made boot overall.Very well made boot overall. Comfortable right out of the box. Very sleek look and stable feel for everyday. I believe they will hold up over time. I didn’t know about the zipper issues until after I ordered them. I have experienced the zippers do unzip sometimes. I still love the boots. I have relied on Danner boots for a long time and have several sets. Right now I use these for security work. Great investment so far.

Missed it by that much. Bad Zipper.This was my first pair of Danner boots. I wanted to love them, I really did. For the most part, they are a good boot. They were comfortable after about a week of breaking them in. I walked through ankle deep water in them with no issues. They seemed slip resistant. They looked great and felt good for the most part. However, the side zip on this boot is absolutely terrible. The zipper falls constantly. In my line of work, this is bad. I bought these for the durability and reliability that my colleagues talk about and the zipper does live up to it. This is a deal breaker. I've read a large amount of reviews from people who are having the same issue. I will be trying another pair of Danner boots but they missed the mark on a boot that could have been top notch.

Good looking boot, not for meThis boot looks great and the size is true.
However, I didn’t like the amount of material around the ankle area. My pant leg kept getting caught on it every time I exited my vehicle.
One other thing I noticed that the side zipper was constantly going down on its own. Just made it annoying and ended up rolling my foot.
Note to self, don’t buy boots with side zippers. On a positive note they are very comfortable boot, wish it came in an option with no side zipper.

Zipper wouldn’t stay up fromZipper wouldn’t stay up from day one. Although I really liked the design of the boot, this was my first and last pair of Danners Boots. I actually returned the boots due to the zipper not functioning properly. Avoid these boots if you’re looking for every day patrol boots.

HOW SHOULD MY BOOTS FIT?
Danner builds boots for their intended use. You'll find that our styles fit differently depending on how they should perform in the field.
Hiking -Right out of the box your hiking boots should feel somewhat snug on the sides of your feet (you aren't sliding side-to-side) with a little room at the toes (you don't want your toes to touch the tip of the boot just standing on flat ground).
-Make sure when you walk your heel doesn't slide up the back of the boot substantially.
-Make sure that you aren't feeling any pinching or pain while walking around your house. If you feel pinching at your big or little toe you probably need a wider boot or perhaps a larger size.
Work -Your work boots should match the anatomical make-up of your foot, widening slightly in the toe-box for a secure platform to stand on.
-Right out of the box you should feel comfort, cushion and support underfoot, for long days on your feet.
-You may feel that they're slightly stiff or snug right out of the box, but after a few weeks of break-in they should move easier at the flex points and conform to your foot, fitting like a glove.
