The Gold 10 Snowshoes by Cresent Moon. Great snowshoes! With the best combination of float and maneuverability derived from the tear-drop shaped frame, it is recommended on or off trails, with or without a pack. The binding on the Gold 10 is a large version of the SPL which fits up to size 16 and down to approximately size 9 (Men's). If you're carrying a backpack, or hauling a toboggan of cheese through the black forest, the Gold 10 is your light and shiny armor for such duty. Two colors to choose from, candy apple red or sartorial green. Splendor in the woods.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Quality Great quality and nice design. These shoes aren’t the lightest shoes out there but have an easy to use binding that easily fits my size 14 boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This is an excellent snowshoe. The SUNY Potsdam Wilderness Education Program has been using these snowshoes for the past two-years on trips ranging from a few hours with beginners to week-long winter expeditions. These shoes are easy for beginners to put on with a gloved hand, they fit snugly to the boot without slop, and climb very well on conditions ranging from hard pack to bullet hard alpine ice. Most importantly, these snowshoes do not fail as all others (MSR, Tubbs, Atlas, etc..) in our equipment do during adverse field conditions. We have bridged the frames over rocks and blow-down with full packs without frame, crampon or binding failure. These snowshoes are made in the USA by a manufacturer that puts design and quality first-something that is becoming a rarity these days when most things are made off shore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Much Awesome! These snow shoes are great! I was a little hesitant leaving my old trusted brand & going with a "new brand" but it was an excellent choice! The float in deep powder is perfect, good weight, the bindings are revolutionary, & I am very happy. If you are looking for a backcountry snowshoe, look no further!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The bindings put them over the top! There are a lot of good snowshoe frames that float well and are durable etc. but what puts the crescent moon's over the others is the binding system, it's secure, and the design of the frame allows for a more natural stride (while still allowing good float) compared to other companies offerings. I tried a set of atlas 12's last year and I noticed that I had more snowshoe/snowshoe contact while hiking and I even had a snowshoe come off in some deep snow and I've never had that happen with my moons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good, bindings rock I have used these a couple of times now and I really do like them a lot. They pack in good and really float on the snow. I really like the binding system on them. No terrain is too rough for these.
