Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fit is off for hourglass frame I am returning these pants for fit issues. My natural frame is slightly curvy/hourglass so finding pants that fit my waist can be hard. I found these pants to be loose through the waist but tight through the lower thigh/upper knee. So tight that I would've felt uncomfortable wearing a base layer. However the waist was so loose - even with the adjustable waist cinched in. The pants are probably pretty warm and felt like they would've provided good protection, but the fit just didn't work for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Fit The pants looked amazing and fit perfectly except in the waist. I bought a medium (8 - 10) thinking i would wear warm tights underneath. No way!!! I loosened the waist all the way and still couldn't close the snaps at the waist even when i removed the tights. I normally wear a size 6. This was crazy! I sent them back yesterday. I also can't believe they charged me for the return! Not happy with Columbia!!!

However I ordered the ski pants in a small and they are too big. Called to do return and order the panst in xs short and there are none available in Short. I can only hope there will be a restock so I can purchase them.

Going to Iceland mid to late March 25-37 degrees Fahrenheit and very windy. I like the Columbia Women's Bugaboo Omni-Heat Pant will these do for those weather conditions? Also outside of thermal underware what else is needed underneath?

Hey there Leisa, great question! These Bugaboo Omni-Heat Pants should do a great job for you in Iceland. Paired with a good set of thermal underwear or leggings, you should have no problem in those temperature ranges. I hope this helps and you have a great time!

Could you tell me if you have insulated overpants that are suitable for minus 20-30 degrees please.

Hiya Gail, thanks for your question! In addition to temperature degrees, staying warm can depend on the the wearer's body temperature and activity level, weather conditions and other factors. Finding pants suitable for -20 to -30 degrees can be tricky. Most insulated ski pants have between 40 to 60 grams of insulation, which is good for snow sports and activities that require a lot of movement. The Mountain Hardwear Women's Snowburst Insulated Cargo Pant has 80 grams of insulation, which is a bit warmer. Keep in mind that the trick to staying warm in subzero temperatures is layering. A base layer (like the Patagonia Women's Capilene Thermal Weight Bottom) can make a huge difference. For extreme conditions, the Canada Goose Women's Tundra Down Pant is rated to -5 degrees, while the Canada Goose Men's Tundra Bib Overall Pant is rated to -25 degrees. (Sorry, it is only available in men's.)
