Rated 1 out of 5 by AngieP from Size up Overall the fit was too tight. I felt the sizing was way off, so definitely size up for a more comfortable fit. I personally wouldn't purchase these again due to the material. I felt it was stiff and no stretch whatsoever.

The phone pocket is barely big enough and the patch pockets in front feel like they should be on the back with a secure front zip pocket. The waistband needs an internal elastic drawstring so when you are moving around with stuff in pockets they don't slide down. Love the rugged fabric but weird around the knees.

My thighs are larger and when I walk the seam rubs and makes a noise like the seam is being pulled. I just wish the seam was smaller a more flushed to the fabric. Aside from that the fit is great and the stretch is great and they're comfortable!

Rated 4 out of 5 by AnneM from Almost perfect! Leggings are really well made and I love the cell phone pocket. I bought a S (according to sizing chart) and I am 5'5" and 115 wet. I carry my weight around my middle and not in the leg. I find the tights a bit snug below the knee - wish the fabric had a bit more stretch. However maybe fabric will loosen up a bit with wash and wear? Hope so. A medium would be too large.

Rated 2 out of 5 by RobinS from No Stretch or Give in Waistband I wear a medium in all leggings I have ever owned. I ordered these leggings in a medium and in a large, since I wasn't sure about sizing. I agree with the numerous reviews saying there is practically no stretch at all in the waistband. I was afraid to force the mediums over my hips, thinking they might tear. I got the large leggings on, still a tight pull on the waistband, but then the legs were really big and long. More like jodphurs. Very odd styling. They look great in the pictures, but I must not be the figure they are looking for. A stretchier waistband would have made all the difference.

NATURAL WAIST: Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body; this is your natural waist. Please note this may not be the smallest point.

HIP / SEAT: Measure at the fullest part of your hips, approximately 8" below the natural waist.

INSEAM: Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You may also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat and smooth out. To get the inseam length, measure on the front from the crotch point, along the seam, to the hem.

NOTES

For best results measure over your undergarments. Use a cloth measuring tape.
