Rated 5 out of 5 by from The working man's 'onesie'! Having had several of the lighter duty brown Carhartt coveralls, it was time for an upgrade. Everything about this Yukon Coverall is better than the brown ones. Heavier duty exterior, more insulation and yes, it weighs a little more. Like almost everything from Carhartt, the quality is obvious and it's always worth paying a little extra for it. I bought a 42 Large Tall and while I always buy clothes in the 'tall' sizes the inseam on this appears to be 36 inches instead of the usual 34 inches. Yes the legs are a tad to long for me but I suspect they will shrink a little after washing. Carhartt says 3-5% shrinkage is to be expected on these. I hope so. Most of you will not need this in tall. Don't have one yet? What are you waiting for?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Above and Beyond excellence in warmth and details. Order a size too big the first but was so impressed with the fantastic materials and overall excellent quality ordered size smaller. Did not to miss out on such an outstanding asset for winter!

I'm interested in the Yukon Coveralls. I would have to have both the arms and legs shortened by a seamstress. Would she need special sewing equipment for the heavy fabric?

Asked by: Renaldo
Thanks for the question! You are more than welcome to have a seamstress tailor these Coveralls. Any alteration will void your warranty, tho. Unfortunately, Carhartt does not have the information as to what sewing equipment is needed. Your seamstress should know which machine to use. My suggestion is to take the Coveralls to him/ her for inspection. If they say alteration can't be done, just let us know and we will facilitate a return for you no problem!

I am interested in these overalls little confused on size my wast is 36-38 Jean length is around 32 but I am shrinking so might even go with length of 30 . I am 5.5 tall . What do you recommend?

Asked by: Lance
Hey there Lance! Based on the measurements you provided, I would try a 38 short. I would go with a 38 in case you want to layer a little underneath. If that size doesn't work out, you can find our return/exchange policy right here: https://www.moosejaw.com/content/returns Hope that helps!

I'm trying to buy a jumpsuit to cover me while I ride my motorcycle in the winter. Does this jumpsuit offer protection against high speed winds?

Asked by: Alex
Thanks for the question! The Men's Yukon Coverall are not specifically wind resistant, but will work while motorcycle riding since the material is thicker and wind will not go thru very easily. Also, this Coverall does have the warmest lining that Carhartt offers. Unfortunately, they do not have any thing similar that is wind-resistant/ proof. I hope this helps a little!

I am 5'7" with a 36"waist and a 29" inseam. Would I take a 44 short?

Asked by: Dave
Thanks for the question! Based on your height & waist size, you would actually be a 42 Short :)

Rocko Gigsby answered my question about my sizing. He said a 44 regular would fit me best because I have a 36-38 in waist. I was wondering if that is a loose fit or a tight fit? I want to be able to layer clothes under it too. Suggestions?

Asked by: Doug
Hi Doug! These Coveralls run large in general. You will have room for layering. If you plan on wearing heavy layers, then it might be a good idea to go one size up. You can always try both sizes to compare the fit at home and then return the size that doesn't work out. Hope this helps a little!

Buying these for a friend he said he wares 38 chest 34 tall long what size would I get

Asked by: Mom73
Thanks for the question! The Tall option will have a 32 inch inseam, but fits Men 5'11" to 6'3". Based on his chest size, you will want to purchase a size 38. If he is 6'3" or less, the 38 Tall will fit him. Carhartt does not offer any products that will fit a man taller than 6'3". Hope this helps!

Hello, it's me again. Not only am I 6 feet tall, i'm a 31 waist and 31 inseam, I wear medium shirts typically, some brands I'll go large. Does this help?

Asked by: sikwoiuh
Hiya again! Coveralls can be tricky to fit so it is best to ask all the questions! The sizing is based on your chest measurement. So if your chest measurement is 38 inches, and since you are 6 feet tall, I would suggest size 38 Tall. Keep in mind that it is assumed that you will be wearing coveralls over clothes, so you will have a roomy fit. Some reviewers have mentioned that the fit is a little too large and bulky to move comfortably, and preferred to select one size down. Hope this helps!

Hi, I am 6' tall and 165lbs, what size would you recommend? Thanks!

Asked by: sikwoiuh
Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! Y'know, I'm 6' tall and 165 lbs too. Hmm. Maybe we're the same person. That would explain why you never see us in the same room together! So, unfortunately, the height and weight don't really help with figuring out sizing. Best bet will be to check out the size guide (it's tuckered away between the size drop down and the color drop down). That will give you grid with waist and hip/seat sizes....as well as inseam! That'll guide you infinitely more than weight and height! Hope this helps you out! Hugsies.

CHEST: Measure just under your arms and across your shoulder blades, holding the tape firm and level. If your chest falls between sizes, order the next size up.

WAIST: Bend side to side and find the natural bend in your body. This is your natural waist. Please note it may not be the smallest point.

INSEAM: Measure from your crotch down to the desired length on body. You can also measure pants that you currently own and like. Lay the garment flat, and measure on the front from the crotch point along the seam to the hem for the inseam length.

For best results, measure over your undergarments and use a flexible measuring tape.

This measurement info is specific to these coveralls only.

Measure both chest and waist. Use the larger of the two to determine a coverall size.

If your chest or waist measurement falls between sizes, size up.

Measurements assume coveralls are worn over other clothing.
