Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best cross between a shirt and jacket I have had this shirt-jac for 2 months and it is warm enough for 20 degrees but also not too warm for temperatures in the 50s. I love it! Best jacket I have owned for living in North Carolina.

  • QUESTIONS, PRODUCT

Are the sleeves lined too? What is the lining made of?

Asked by: Kathy
Hey there, Kathy! The "to line or not to line the sleeves" question. It haunts manufacturers. This Carhartt does *not* have lined sleeves - they are quilted. The rest of the jacket has sherpa lining. Sherpa lining is super fluffy and comfy but it is a nightmare when you have it in a sleeve! Try pushing your arm through a sherpa lined sleeve when wearing a sweater and you will experience new levels of frustration. As for the material, the sherpa lining is a mix of 70% acrylic and 30% polyester and the outside material is 100% ringspun flannel! Hope that helps

CARHARTT FIT GUIDE and INFO

*Measure over your undergarments for best results

CHEST: Measure under your arms and across your shoulder blades while holding the tape firm and level. If your chest measurement is between sizes, buy the next size up.

WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline, this time keeping the tape comfortably loose.

INSEAM: Measure pants that fit you well. Lay them on a flat surface, with the front and back creased smooth. Measure along the inseam from the crotch to bottom of leg hem. You can also measure the correct inseam length without pants by measuring from your crotch to the pant length you would prefer.

TALL SIZES: For Carhartt's tall sizes, the garments are two inches longer in the length and sleeve than their regular size garments.

Coveralls: The tall sizes are 1" longer than regular sizes, the tall sleeve lengths are 1" longer than regular sleeve lengths, and the short sleeve lengths are 1" shorter than regular sleeve lengths. This DOES NOT apply to the Carhartt Men's Yukon Coverall.
