Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome ride Just do it. Pull the trigger and get this trail wagon. Easy setup, sturdy construction, and very quick training for doggie get accustomed to this ride. Our Czech Shepherd fur baby is 53 lbs, 29 in long and fit inside just fine. It's slightly tight when she lays down, but still fits and she figured out how to maximize the platform by laying diagonally. In future iterations, it would be nice to see Burley 1) add a bit of length to accommodate longer dogs (2 in would be nice) and 2) include off-rpad tires. Remove any excess metal parts on your dogs collar before the ride so it doesn't get stuck on the mesh. Otherwise, it's a great way to get a different workout in by towing extra weight. She loved the trip to the beach and a fellow rider commented, "I love your setup!!!" Excellent product, Burley, keep the pet products coming!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little trailer for your furry friend We bought this over a year ago and have taken our dog on a lot of rides with it, she enjoys being able to sit back and look around while I tow her around the neighborhood or on bike trails. The one thing I wish it had was a little bit of suspension to the rear wheels as some times going over bumps it jostles her around because she does like to sit up in it. The build quality is good and we have had no issues with any part on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy, smooth riding, ample room for two dogs We love our Tail Wagon and my two small (ten pound) dogs are learning to ride in it in the stroller configuration first (walking then jogging), then we will move to the bike trailer. The wagon is very sturdy, stable and made of high quality materials - I feel my dogs will be very safe & protected. My only complaint is the two D rings mean I have a very limited ability to secure my dogs and really, honestly, this is a sub-par securement system. I am having to rig up a tether that goes from the small, plastic D ring in the floor to the loops on the back of the dog harness, and still haven't found the best system that allows them some movement but they aren't flopping around all over the place.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice trailer Recently bought this to take my 6 month old Australian Labradoodle out biking with me on the trails. She loved her ride and was able to sit and look out the top very comfortably. Very sturdy and roomy. The features are very nice especially the removable floor for cleaning and the added pockets to store her supplies. Very happy I made this purchase

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great trailer for my Portie! Love the Burley's size, features, etc. The only negative is the mesh screen is very thin - my dog scraped a hole in it after one paw touched it. But other than that, I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good purchase! I've taken my Corgi puppy out in it a few times now, and despite his moving all around, it feels very secure behind me. The construction is durable, it's my 2nd Burley and I love it so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Burley Tail Wagon! We bought this product for our 10 year old dog that can no longer run beside the bikes. She loves it, we love it and we are taking it everywhere our bikes go. The Burley Tail Wagon was easy to assemble and encourage her to get into. It pulls behind a bike so well that we forget it is there. Very happy with this purchase. Great product!

Does road debris get into dog's face?

Asked by: lindakay
Hiya lindakay, thanks for your question! This wagon has vinyl windows and mesh covers, which keep your dog protected from the elements and road debris. If the vinyl and mesh windows are rolled up, road debris could possibly get into the wagon but it depends on the type of road and its conditions. Hope this helps!

I'm looking for a trailer for transporting my 3 chihuahuas. They're about 6-8 lbs each. Is this going to be too large? Will they easily be able to see out the window or is the window too high? Are there leash hooks? I just want them to be secure.

Asked by: MandersANH
Thanks for the question! The Tail Wagon will not be too large for your three dogs. It might actually be more comfortable for them to lay down with the extra room. If you roll the front cover up, they should not have any problems looking out the window. There are four internal "D"- rings - 2 in the front and 2 in the back. You can hook a leash or a carabiner to that ring to secure them. Hope this info helps!

Is it a stiff ride when you hit bumps or curbs on the road. Any shocks?

Asked by: Mr Farley
Unfortunately there is not a suspension option for the Tail Wagon trailer. A few Burley child trailers feature an adjustable spring suspension.
