The shoe is constructed to have a cool look and feel, and the upper fabric is breathable meaning that when you're working up a sweat while on your run air will circulate through the shoe to reduce overheating, and to keep you and your feet cool. I have been wearing Brooks for 3 years since i have a flat/dropped foot from a torn ankle tendon, for my orhtodics, this was the first time I tried the Revel, while I like the slimmer style for fashion purposes, it does not give me as much support at my ankle, so not sure how that affects a runner, but they are not as comfortable as the Ghost or Adrenaline or the Stealth fit, i have them all. Thank you

Brooks has outshines and other shoes I have worn. I am have 5 different styles in my wardrobe now and have never regretted my purchases.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not what I was hoping for. While I was hoping to love these shoes as much as my Trace pair, I have to say that these kill my feet. I am in pain at the end of my 8+hour work day. I specifically wanted Brooks as I am on my feet all day at a fast paced job. On the Revel 6 if feel like I wasted my money.
