Rated 3 out of 5 by from Breathable tank with fun graphic, too long A longtime fan of Brooks, I've worn the original distance running tanks for years. I love the tank's breathable fabric, fun graphics, and bright colors. The 2.0 version fixes a common complaint, that the original version had too high a neck and wasn't a true racerback. (I personally never minded these details, but I'm neutral on the matter. I didn't think twice about ordering this updated version). Unfortunately, the 2.0 distance running tank is a few inches longer than the original. This is probably great for taller runners, but not so for those of us under five-foot-five. Nothing annoys me more than the extra fabric of my shirt getting stuck under my butt when I run! The updates made the shirt impractical for me, and I already wear a size XS, so I can't size down. I get that other runners have strong opinions on the lower neckline and racerback, so I suggest Brooks keep these features but shorten the shirt to a more functional length!

It’s extremely comfortable and durable without feeling heavy. I live in Florida, so I’m always looking for tank tops that have breathability without living in dry fit shirts. This one is so cute (love the colors, design and pink stitching!) and comfortable. The arm openings don’t ride up when I run, and you won’t drown yourself in sweat with this fabric. I’m nearing the end of my second trimester and my true size is still fitting great! Only downside is I’ve washed it several times and am noticing some slight pilling.

I’m a more casual runner, but this shirt is the one I go to first when it’s clean. I have an hourglass figure, so finding comfortable shirts to exercise in can be tough. I really like how this one hangs and fits through my hips and waist—it’s fitted at the waist but not too tight on my hips. The fabric is pretty soft, too. The design on the front is simple and sweet and reminds me of when I lived in the mountains out west! There’s nothing I would change about this shirt.

It’s lightweight but with enough thickness to soak up some sweat. I like how breezy it is when I’m running and the arm holes are a perfect size. I find that some running tanks have either massive arm holes that make me feel exposed or too small ones that chafe but these are just the right size.
