Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super lightweight, great for long distance hiking Great trekking pole over all. Light weight, packed small. This is a pare of pole design for going long distance. The only down side is the basket isn't interchangeable. Maybe it isn't mean for winter sports.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great poles, easy to use and lightweight I am doing a few events coming up (including a 100 miler, my first) so believe poles will be a must. After much research I settled on these poles because they were carbon, adjustable and easy to collapse and put up. These were the only poles that ticked all my boxes!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light & Fast Amazingly light and the collapsible features allow it to go from pack to hand (for faster running) or fully extended. Potential weak point where locking detent button meets carbon sleeve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pass though airport screening. Very light and strong. Can pass though airport screening. Handles a little rough but can be moved around or used with light gloves

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So light I carry them all the time Bought these midway through the summer and now always have them with me. I am not a constant pole user but there are times when they are handy - but until I had these lightweight, foldable poles, I generally did without. Now, they are always in my pack and I find myself using them more often than I thought. The grips are comfy over a long period of hiking and don't give me blisters like my older poles. I also like that the poles don't make a lot of noise during use - remember the clink clack of spring loaded poles? Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Features! I bought these just 2 weeks ago. A friend will use them in Rome for walking the seven hills and then I will be using them for hiking for myself. I like the compactness of these poles, making them easy to fit in a carry on suitcase for travel. They are also light weight and adjustable for different heights. My last poles were difficult to pack do to not folding. I'm looking forward to using them in October.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good for light walkers Took a pair up a couple fourteeners and they broke where the other reviewers are showing the break. Returned then to SLC headquarters and they gave me the aluminum version. Which also broke after about 200km of use. In the same place as the carbon ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight miracle No reason not to bring these on your next adventure. So light. They stow away quickly when you don't need them, lend confidence to the downs and make you a machine on the uphills.

is the price for one or two poles

Asked by: bobo
Hiya Bobo, thanks for your question! The price is for a pair, 2 poles. This reminds me of a play list I made for hiking... I call it trail mix. Ha! Anyway... sorry for the confusion!
