Last updated January 1st, 2020
Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.

Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. We would definitely buy this again. This was purchased alongside a sleeping pad that fits into the system. The bag was lightweight, compact, warm and comfortable. Great for backpacking!

Good but not warm enoughI bought this bag a year ago to replace my previous big agnes fria 15 degree bag. I like that it's cozy to sleep on my sides and I like the inside storage pocket. I love the big agnes sleep system, I prefer my sleeping bag over any hotel room bed. I never worry about rolling off my pad. My other bag I didn't worry about carrying a liner unless I knew it would be below 35 degrees but this one I am always dragging along my bag liner and wondering if I'm going to be warm enough. Had I known it wasn't going to be as warm as my previous bag I would have bought the zero degree bag in a heart beat.

2019 PCT Thru-hike ReviewI used this bag for my entire 2019 PCT thru-hike, so it took some major wear and tear. It was hung over branches, bushes and rocks, stuffed into my pack without a stuff sack each day, and put to the test of 20 degree nights. I used to joke that the worst part of every day was stuffing it into my bag (because that meant the comfort was over and the pain was about to begin). I would list it in my top 3 gear choices overall. After sleeping in it for 5 months, it's still in great condition and continues to by my bag of choice. That said, there are some concerns. Here's my pro/con list. PROS: 1. Super soft outer material -- and durable. There are no holes after heavy use. 2. Pillow holder keeps your pillow and hood in place 3. Wide enough for me to side sleep with a knee out and to toss and turn inside 4. The sleeping pad holder (which I cut off after switching to a z-pad only) means there is no fill on the bottom, making this kind of a "quilt-hybrid" which keeps the weight of the bag down while providing a tiny layer between me and my pad. I prefer it to the style of quilt that has no bottom because I don't like feeling my sleeping pad on bare skin. 5. Cell phone/chapstick pocket 6. Toasty warm down to freezing temps CONS: 1. Down feathers come out ALL THE TIME. They poke right through the fabric and out of the seams. Who knows how much temp rating I've lost. 2. Zipper catches. I really have to hold the zipper insulation piece out of the way the whole way up. It sticks from the inside and outside. Just annoying. 3. I'm unsure about temp rating. Everyone is comfortable at different temps. I'm a cold person. I paired this bag with a super light cotton liner that claims to add 10 degrees. In my experience, I was warm above 30. There were only a couple nights where I got cold at night and they were in exposed, wet places in the low-20s. Yes, this bag is rated to 15 so some would say that means it doesn't work...I think there are too many factors involved to call it bad.

Cold on mild nightsI really wanted to love this bag. I needed to replace my 20 year old Montreal Downhugger. It just wasn't keeping me warm anymore. Anyway, the Daisy Mae is comfy, reasonably priced, and packs down fairly well. I like the pillow pouch, extra insulation around the neck, and the cell phone pocket. The design is ingenious. But, the temperature rating in inaccurate. I was cold on 45 degree nights! I was wearing my baselayer and a hat. I also had my bag liner two nights and I was still cold! I use a regular sized Big Agnes insulated air core pad and purchased the petite Daisy Mae. On my last night using this bag, I grabbed a down blanket and put in it underneath my sleeping pad and I was finally warm. The trade off on weight and cost isn't worth shivering all night.

Sleep System or no System! This review is mainly to comment on the amazing Big Agnes Sleep System. I paired this sleeping bag with the Q-core Deluxe Sleeping pad and DANG! What a game changer! I tend to roll around a lot in my sleep, flipping from my stomach, to my side, and to my back throughout the night. I never had any issues with the sleeping pad and stayed on it the entire time. I have the Daisy Mae 15* in a Petite size (I'm 5'4") and it fits me perfectly. If you are any taller, or if you like to "starfish" in your sleep: I'd suggest going with a larger bag so that you can fit a longer and/or wider sleeping pad underneath you. I am always cold when I sleep. Even at home, I like my house to be in the 70s, and then I add on all the layers. I've camped with this bag into the 30 degree range and that's about as far as I would personally push it if you're not adding a thermal liner to it. If you don't sleep "cold," you may have an entirely different experience. Everyone's bodies are different. I don't find myself sleeping below 30 degrees too often, so this bag is perfect for the majority of my camping adventures. Overall, I'm really happy with this camping set up! Definitely sold on the Big Agnes Sleep Systems.

I will continue to suggest this sleep systemI have just recently bought this system but I have used it at least a hand full of times. Once was in 50 degree, humid weather in Florida (which I tend to be much colder in as a paraplegic) and I was sweating all night long and had to come out of the bag. Then again when it was 30 degrees and I was in northern Mississippi I was really worried based off the other reviews, but again, I was sweating in the middle of the night. This is the best system I have ever had and indeed the best sleeping bag. I've been a user of Madera sleeping bags for the past few years but so happy I tried out the more expensive Big Agnes. There is no comparison in their products. Big Agnes for the win! I will never every go back to using a sleeping bag on top of a mat. This sleep system will be bought again if anything happens to this one without a doubt!

40 degrees and freezingI'm planning to do the PCT in April and when I scoped thhis bag I thought it'd be perfect. I've been using lately to test its quality and I've been sadly disappointed that I cannot stay warm under 40 degrees. I love this bag, it has the sleep pad and pillow holders and I love the cell phone pocket holder on the inside as well but other than this I'm sad that this will not be the bag I take with me on my trip. I'll never live through the sierras with this to keep me warm.

Not good in 30 degree temparaturesMy wife and I did an overnight hike to McAfee Knob two weeks ago. The night time temperature got down to 30 degrees and my wife got cold and could not get warm. She wore a Smart Wool base layer with her down jacket. The 15 degree Daisy Mae with a sleeping pad with a 4.7R rating wouldn't keep her warm. When I purchased the sleeping bag I specifically chose the 15 degree Daisy Mae because of the temperature rating. I was very disappointed in the performance of this bag in 30 degree temps, which is 15 degrees higher than what the bag is rated.
