Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. MJ$ on Gift Cards:

Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.

For what it is, perfectFor something this light this tent exceeded all my expectations. Only a small amount of wear visible and a few small patches needed after 50 days of rugged camping in Alaska and the Yukon. Did amazing with wind too.

weight weenyPurchased this for bikepacking - the weight and size are very good for this purpose. After pitching a few times, the tent is surprisingly roomy and water proof for how small and light it packs. Extra care must be taken when pitching and packing this tent, as the carbon fiber poles and dyneema fabric can fail given the right conditions.
This is much better than the non-free standing single wall tent that it replaced (zpacks plexamid), and I hope that it lasts a long time with proper use and care.

Great tent!This is a great tent for its specific purpose. The 2 parts of the tent I like is it has a full vestibule. Important for comfort so every item does not have to go in the tent and it serves as a staging area for shoes and stuff like that. Also, it is a dual layer tent so condensation is less of a concern. When staked out properly it is very stable. I got the two person model for my solo trips. Only 2 oz. more and lots more room. Best lightweight tent I have ever used. If cost is not a concern get this tent.

extremely light weightI also own the Fly Creek 1 Platinum and yes this tent is significantly lighter. Credit to Big Agnes as their advertised packaged weight is accurate. (tent+fly+stake) and add 3 oz for footprint. The one functional drawback/difference from the platinum version is the "All-breathable body saves weight and provides extra privacy and protection from desert sand" is not nearly as breathable as the mosquito netting used in the other Big Agnes models. In a side by side test with the platinum on the JMT the Carbon version had significantly more condensation inside the tent after a full night. Very wet compared to dry. I will still use this tent and save considerable weight (8oz) but I understand I am going to get wet inside if the conditions are like a Sierra Nevada August night. side note: you can save 2 oz by using the MSR carbon stakes Keep in mind this not a free standing tent. What I really want to use is a carbon version or platinum version of the copper spur HV 1 freestanding tent. more space, free standing and just a little more weight.

Tent Failed at Mile 331 of Colorado TrailPurchased the Fly Creek HV1 Carbon for the Colorado Trail Hike attempt in 2019 as an upgrade to the Fly Creek HV1 Platinum (previous model which I had used on the John Muir Trail in 2017). The carbon fiber tent poles seemed fragile early on in the hike each day I set them up and on day 17 of the hike (mile 331 at Stewart Creek Trail Head in Eddiesville) after setting up the tent and attending to some chores, I came back to find the tent pole had snapped near the apex (union point of the tent poles) and pierced the rain fly. Attempted to utilize the splice-piece and the pole snapped again (see images). Luckily I had some medical tape that I was able to use to field repair the poles together for the night (which fortunately did not rain that night) and two kind gentlemen were there at the trail head when this happened and rescued me by giving me a ride to Gunnison in their truck. Note that I had already had the tent replaced once because when I received it in the mail, one of the tent segments was damaged (the inner union piece was not secured to the outer carbon fiber pole). The geometry of the tent/footprint/fly is also miscalculated. The rear side of the tent and footprint do not align, the stake you use for the rear-middle stakeout point for the footprint is short and does not match with rear-middle stakeout point of the tent. The rear-corners of the tent and fly are also misaligned. When you stakeout the rear-corners of the footprint and tent, you can't use the same stakes for the fly without the fly making contact with the tent and therefore negating the double-wall feature and allowing condensation inside. I had to use another set of stakes for the rear-corners of the fly to mitigate this issue (see photo). Unfortunately with only 11 stakes in the tent kit, this meant that I wasn't able to stake out the two guy lines at the front side of the tent. The customer service experience with Big Agnes has been very disappointing.

Awesome Tent But...Here is my brutally honest opinion. This is an amazing tent that has all the features that a picky ultralight hiker would want in a tent. I have used it on three 15+ day (non resupply) hikes. I bought it because of the weight and ease of setup. I would recommend only for a very experienced hiker that is really looking to cut weight (and doesn't mind shelling out $$$).
Here is my gripe. The durability of this tent is SACRIFICED to save weight. The material (albeit very waterproof) is so prone to ripping that you find yourself worrying about every pitch/takedown and any turbulence you encounter along the trail.
