Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Light I used this bag on two back to back trips Guiding Denali's West Buttress route. I climbed Denali 3 years ago with a different -20 bag that stuffed to twice the size of this and weighed about 2 pounds more. I was a bit nervous when I first saw the Crusho. Its so trim fitting and narrow looking I thought there was no way I would be able to sleep with my boot liners, extra layers, water bottles, etc. that you have to through in your sleeping bag on expedition. I was very pleasantly surprised, not only was I able to fit everything I needed in the bag with me, but it felt roomy, comfortable, and kept me warm. The shell material shed water and condensation very well and the down never seemed to be effected by moisture. The best part is that this compressed down to the size of most 0 degree bags and didn't feel like a brick at the bottom of my already heavy pack. The only down side I noticed was the two draft tubes that cover the zipper seemed a little small to me. there were a few mornings I could feel a little bit of cold coming in from the zipper and the inside of the zipper would have frost on it. The 3/4 zipper felt like it would be a big deal at first but after a couple nights you get used to it and appreciate the weight savings over the minor inconvenience of the zipper not going all the way down. My only other wish for the bag would be a small pocket to keep ear plugs, or head phones. All in All I spent about 40 nights in the bag ranging in temps from -25 to 15 degrees. I was warm every night and didn't feel muggy in this bag on warm nights since the shell can breath so well. *** Member of the Big Agnes Athlete team***

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm and comfy, but -20F? I sleep outside about 150 nights a year as a guide and instructor, in all seasons in Colorado. This has been my favorite bag I've owned, for the warmth-to-weight, comfortable feel, and ability to handle wet conditions like condensation. However, the temperature rating seems overstated: It feels about as warm and lofty (though lighter) as 0 degree bags I've used in the past, and I've needed to use my puffy jacket and pants to keep warm whenever the temperature drops below about 15 degrees F. Just want to give a realistic assessment of the warmth after my fall/winter/spring of using this bag on chilly nights up high in Colorado.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT BAG Spent over 35 nights in this bag on a recent trip and stayed warm in temperatures near -20 and at elevations of 18,000 feet. The bag held up well and stayed dry even with day after day use. Compared to other down bags I have used of similar temperature ratings, it is light and compact. This is a solid bag!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Bag Delivers! I took this out on a 0 degree night and it performed great. I had a foam pad underneath it and was in a quality 4 season tent. I stayed very warm and comfortable. I did not get to test the lower limits of the bag (-20), but believe I would have been comfortable had temperatures substantially dropped. As a former Big Agnes Customer Service Representative, I must note that the bag should not be solely responsible for your warmth. You need proper insulation below you, and clothes on, as I'm sure sleeping directly on the snow, would not have kept me warm. This bag performed well for me and I would use it again in colder temperatures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expedition Worthy!! This is my go-to bag for expeditions, especially those cold nights when you know you are going to freeze your butt off. I used this bag on a 23-day expedition on Denali and it performed perfectly. Before leaving, my concern was the roominess of the bag. Would I be able to fit all my gear and freezable's in my bag at night and sleep comfortably? Yes, I could!! I had my boot liners, pants, jackets, multiple socks, water bottles, sun lotion, batteries and more all in the bag with me. Everything stayed warm and so did I. Average temps were around -10F, but it did drop down to -40F at times. On the nights when temps were between 0F up to 32F (lower mountain), I slept great with very few layers on and sometimes not even zipping the bag up. On the bitter cold nights with heavy blowing winds and temps dipping below -20F, I still slept great. Now don't get me wrong, I had all my layers on (puffy pants and jackets), but never once was I cold in my bag. 11 days stuck at 14,000 camp and this bag was a life saver. Make sure you get a compression sack to pack it down as small as you can. I am planning on using this next time on Denali and continue to use it in the winter while at higher elevation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Warm, Ultra Light This bag was used for my most recent trip to Nepal and it did great! With 40-days of trekking, a total elevation gain of 67,866ft, loss of 62,133ft, and 237.3 mi miles covered I was psyched about how light and pack-able this sleeping bag was. It wasn't a cold season and so rarely did i sleep with this bag fully zipped, but for those few nights at high-camps over 17,000' it was very comfortable.
