Opting-in to Moosejaw Rewards:
All users must accept these terms and conditions and create an account with Moosejaw to opt-in to the program and earn, accrue, retain and redeem Moosejaw Reward Dollars (MJ$). The program is FREE to join and membership is ongoing until or unless the user requests to be removed or is removed due to abuse of the program. Users can opt-in to the program while checking out on Moosejaw.com or at one of our stores or at any time within 30 days of purchase to accrue the MJ$ earned on that purchase. Once opted-in to the program, MJ$ will earn and accrue for redemption as described below until the MJ$ expire or the user leaves the program.
All information collected and used to facilitate the Moosejaw Rewards program is directly related to the program's ability to provide value to the customer. A customer opting-in to the Moosejaw Rewards program is a separate action from establishing a user profile as a result of making a purchase.
The program opt-in requirement was added on August 6th, 2019. Existing program members prior to that date must still formally opt-in and accept the terms and conditions to continue to retain, earn and redeem MJ$. Pre-existing program members that fail to opt-in prior to June 28, 2020 will be removed from the program, and any unused MJ$ will be voided. We really, really don't want to that to happen, so please opt-in or we'll feel terrible.
Leaving Moosejaw Rewards Program:
You may choose to leave the Moosejaw Rewards program at any time by logging in and clicking on the “Opt out Rewards Program” link within the My Account Summary page, Email, calling 877-MOOSEJAW (877-666-7352) or in-store with help from our employees. If you leave the rewards program, any unused MJ$ will be voided upon completion of your request.
Earning MJ$:
All items we sell are eligible with the exception of gift cards or other items specifically noted. Full-priced items earn 10% back while discounted items earn 2.5%. "Discounted items" includes items on sale or discounted via coupon code or use of MJ$. You do not earn MJ$ for shipping or tax charges, only from the item value. MJ$ expire two years after earning and are redeemed on a first-in, first out basis (in other words, we always use your oldest MJ$ that are closest to expiration).
Checking & Redeeming MJ$:
On Moosejaw.com, just sign-in on any page to see your available balance. Once signed in, you will see your available MJ$ and maximum that can be redeemed in the payment section of the checkout process. In stores, provide the email address attached to your account to learn your balance and apply to your purchase. We will also send you a monthly email that details your balance and other account activity. This is a transactional email that you will receive even if you are not subscribed to our marketing emails.
Bonus Rewards Promotions:
Every so often, we'll have special offers where you can earn bonus MJ$, like an additional 10%, 20% or 40% back. So if we are running a 50% back special offer, and you buy a regular-priced item for $100.00, you will receive MJ$10.00 in base points, and a bonus of MJ$40. These special offers may have a cap on how many bonus MJ$ you earn during the promotion, but you will always earn the base Reward Dollars. Make sure to check us out on our social channels for other ways to win some extra MJ$!
MJ$ on Gift Cards:
You don't get earn MJ$ when you buy a gift card, but you do get MJ$ when you spend a gift card. Sorry gift givers. You're welcome gift receivers.
Product Returns and MJ$:
If you return an item, we deduct the MJ$ earned on that item from your balance. If you used the MJ$ and your balance is less than deduction, then your refund is reduced by the difference.
Program Abuse:
The intent of the program is to provide our loyal customers with a way to buy great gear for less. Moosejaw reserves the right to remove any user from the program and zero out their MJ$ balance if Moosejaw determines that the user is abusing the program by buying for resale, attempting to game the program or any other reason at Moosejaw's sole discretion.

Classic for a ReasonThis is a classic tent and I think has been around for forever for a very good reason! This is my go to backpacking tent. Its lightweight, packs easily and it fits myself and my partner perfectly with our Insulated Q Core SLX pads perfectly.

Look no further for a lightweight backpacking tentJust spent 4 nights out in the Alpine Lakes region of Washington with my kid- the Cooper Spur was the perfect companion. zipper snag in 4 years! otherwise, a good tentI bought it in 2016 for my WTC and was happy with it until my recent backpacking trip when the zipper gave out. Luckily, there were no mosquitoes; otherwise, I would have been one unhappy camper. I think I have only used it in less than 20 trips, each trip lasting no more than 4 nights. For such an expensive tent to have the zipper give out so fast is disappointing. I hope there's a way to fix the zipper without me having to buy a new tent. In the past, I would be able to fix the snag, but now having come home and doing my best at fixing it, only one zipper works and it seems temperamental.

The finest, most versatile tent for 2!I had a one 2 person Seedhouse for most of my adult life, well over a decade, and it never failed me. I used it almost every weekend for hikes, mountain biking trips, fishing/ hunting trips, concerts, car camping and a few long haul hikes. It never, ever failed me. Sure, I patched this and sewed that along the way but the only real thing that was difficult about that tent was having guests stay with me. It was perfect for 1 person with gear but was too cramped for 2 plus gear. That tent was so good that when I loaned it to a friend for a long bike camp trip, he swore he couldn't give it back. We're still friends. Anyway, as I got older, mountain biking trips became moto-camping trips. Then they became moto-camping trips with my special lady friend. Now that we have been weekend warriors together for over 5 years, and my trusty Seedhouse has started a new relationship, I had to pick up a new tent for the first time in a very long time. After all of the good experiences with my Seedhouse, I had to try another BA. I picked up the Copper Spur, the double wide cabin creek bag and the double wide Q Core SLX along with Q Core Deluxe pillows. I am certain we have never slept outside more comfortably. No whiskey chugging before bed required (we still sip for fun) What is truly amazing is that all of that gear plus a Mica basin camp chair and another ultralight chair all fit in my 80L motorcycle panniers and I still have room for my soft cooler and my partner. We are lucky to live at the edge of Yosemite and every weekend is an adventure. For the past month, we have been wondering why we waited so long to expand our tent and bed space. The Copper Spur has every feature I loved about my Seedhouse and way more. The materials, construction and features are beyond my expectation. it's even the same color of my 'ol tent. I called my friend the other day to thank him for keeping my Seedhouse so that I had to upgrade. I realize I owe BA as well, so THANK YOU!

Great tent and even better companyYou're not going to find a more comfortable and reliable tent under 3lbs. After 1 year of hard use it's never let me down and it still looks like the day i got it. It's light enough to take on a solo adventure and big enough for two and a dog. With BA's legendary service you can't go wrong.

Perfect Sierra Summer TentThe Copper Spur HV UL2 is the perfect 3 season tent for solo camping for a big guy with a 25" width Air Core Ultra air mattress. Plenty of room for gear, sitting up and changing clothes. I added two 4 mm foam pads under and over the air mattress for the cooler high altitude Sierra conditions. I look forward to many years of use with my new home away from home. Two thumbs way up!

Design flaw leads to pooling on rain flyTent is super light, has plenty of pockets, a smart door design, and ample vestibule. It poured very hard the first time I used it, and I noticed a pretty big flaw - where the crossbar intersects the corner-to-corner bars, since the crossbar isn't directly under the 'hub', it creates a triangle area that isn't sloped, and collects water. Like... a lot of water. I had to push on it a lot from inside the tent to get the water to roll off, but due to the super-stretchy material and overall design, it would just pool again very quickly. It did not leak, but I was pushing on it a lot to keep water out. Looking at how the seams are made, it almost looks like this was on purpose, which I find hard to believe from a company that makes such high-quality products.

I will purchase with Big Agnes again!!Very excited to have this bag with the Qcore Deluxe Sleep Mattress. Comfortable and warm at 10500 ft in the Rockies! The pillow pocket is a nice addition. I highly recommend!
Is that 41" of maximum ceiling height? The floor space seems small for two big adults. My Q-Core is 25" wide. That leaves 2" between sleeping pads. That moves me up to a 3-person tent.

HIya MountainMan, thanks for your question! The ceiling height is 40 inches at the highest point. The tent floor is shaped like a trapezoid. The floor measurements are 88 inches long, 52 inches on the widest side and 42 inches on the narrow side. So you wouldn't be able to fit two 25 inch pads at the narrow end. An ultralight two person tent like this is meant to *just* fit two people with marginal space between them. The dual vestibules are designed for storage. It sounds like a three person tent would be more ideal for you. Hope this helps!

I’m not clear on setting up the rain fly with just the foot print. Will the regular fly that comes with the tent work with just the footprint or does it require a separate special rain fly?

Hey there Hikerjer, good question! So I'm assuming the idea behind setting up the rain fly on top of just the footprint is to just use it as a temporary rain or sun shelter, and using the footprint to anchor the tent poles. The same fly is used no matter what setup you are trying to achieve. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the question! The floor, rainfly, and solid fabric portion of the tent body use 20D nylon. The mesh on the tent body is a slightly thinner at 15D. Hope this helps!

The Copper Spur does indeed come with a rain fly. You can buy replacement rain flies in case an overzealous kitten decided it would be fun to see how well they can attach themselves like Spiderman and dig their razor claws through the material. Sure, sure, I probably should not have set my tent up in the living room, but that kitten needs to learn some discipline!
But, I digress - Copper Spur comes with a rain fly. You will just need to buy a footprint
